Last weekend, I completed a 15 KM hike from Okutama station to the Mount Mitake in Tokyo, Japan. The hike had a total of 1300m elevation gain and it took me 8 hours including my rest stops. The trail reached three mountain peaks and until the second peak, Mt. Otake, I was hiking all alone by myself alongside bear warning signs....the autumn leaves were just so magical....
