Holy hell y’all British people are making the state of Maryland seem like it is full of cookie lovers. Every time a British person comes here they are like “Maryland like the cookies?”. I would rather lick my floor then even touch your cookies. You are brainwashing the public and you should go out of business or change the name.

It's shocking how few biscuits in UK stores are low sugar or sugar free - the same problem can be found with sweets, cakes, cereals and desserts. I've ordered a pack of the sugar free version, but I worry they'll taste bad because of the sweetener they've added. Only found one RUclips review of these cookies and they said they were harder than the normal versions, which isn't a great start. Hopefully Burton's can start a trend of low/no sugar biscuits amongst UK manufacturers, but I suspect the sugar tax being extended to food is the only way to force their hand. Update: I finally got a pack from Tesco and gave some of to a few work colleagues. We all agreed they were very disappointing compared to the normal Marylamd cookies. Dry, hard and not sweet at all. A huge letdown from Burton's - back to the drawing board I'm afraid :-(

For a whole packet, I would pay the recommended retail price. For just one, I would ask if I could have it, if not I would say "ah fuck you then" and walk away.
