QR codes at the back of a physical book is super convenient to the reader cause they can just grab their phone and sign up from there instead of typing a whole url. Links are great on ebooks because you can click it and right there sign up. The divisive thing about free book vs bonus chapter is free books aren't converting that many readers into paying readers. A bonus chapter or scene or second epilogue assumes and requires the reader to read the entire book to really enjoy the bonus which means they are already a paying reader and most likely will buy your next book (if they enjoyed your previous one). Which one or what combinations an author does depends on their marketing and what goals they are aiming for. I didn't write cause my hands were hurting. Even if I wanted to I couldn't.

I've actually been looking at my December calendar and see if I could fit a planning stream.

@esthermarieandujar i love the idea of these challenges but I can't do them. I get so overwhelmed by editing.

@@Dolores_Madil If you have capcut the shorts are totally doable. I usually leave 30 seconds for the update. 5 to 10 seconds for the opening and then the other 25 to 20 seconds to little snippets. Pretty easy to edit in capcut and you can add the music in it too.

@@Dolores_Madil I do understand the longer vlogs are a litt more difficult cause you do have to set aside a solid hour or two to do everything. I've seen some vlogmas that are like an hour and man I could never.

I'm trying to be more organized for my characters but we shall see cause I really learn about them through the writing.

My brain gets easily bored and sometimes the media that I'm consuming inspires me so much that I become obsess with a dynamic or a setting or an aspect of what I'm watching. The more I stay in one thing the more I grow tired of it so I have to project hop in order to not kill my love for writing. Brains are so interesting!

I can image that. For what I remember not a lot of people in my immediate community were against it. I think it was more of a phenomenon here because it got lots of people into reading, which was something teachers struggle a lot.

Sadly, I haven't been able to get through book 2. Didn't realized how truly annoying early story Dobby was. While I didn't read everything they wrote but my entrance to fantasy were CS Lewis, Tolkien, Anne Rice, etc.
