Hey guys how to work with you because i'm not and started to do this can work
👍👍
What is that you put on your work table it looks like a big piece of leather glued down or is that some type of other material? Interesting
Отличная работа. Мастер своего дела. Даже мне, не 1-й год увлеченный подобным делом, интересно было посмотреть и кое чему поучиться.
I've been a leathersmith since 1967 and I still enjoyed your video. I like the Zen thing and the therapeutic thing too, because it is both.Best of luck.
For the best quality leather products visit www.arata.co.in .they provide with the best quality products at a good price and are well known for customization
Awesome!
Great Video I was also wondering what is the tool used to paint the edges?
Can you share where you get your metal templates for the belt?
Amazing video! An intriguing insight into handcrafted leather goods, subscribed!
I love those punches. They're fun to use. Cool vid.
Can't smell leather anymore either, have to be on a trip for weeks
Who made your hand stamps for belt size and made in the USA.
totally agree..!
I like their work etc, but their prices are ridiculous . 100.00 for a dog lead. 100.00 for a VERY basic belt . They would sell more if they are a better price base .
I do leather work friend. My belts are from 16 oz Herman Oak I could understand it if was a tooled belt etc. With a Name. but the quality of their belts are NOT worth 100 bucks. but they can set their price at what they want. Kinda like jean makers that set their price at 300.00 -400.00 bucks that are no better made than American made jeans that cost 60. If people are stupid enough to pay 400 bucks for jeans just because of a brand name. more power to them .
My jeans are made in a shutdown Levi's plant in Georgia and everything on them is Made in the USA brother. As for the belts they pump them out pretty quick. They are simple belts . Nothing special.. cut a strap dye the edges. Pop 5 holes in it put the buckle on it and a keeper. I own a Leather shop friend. More power to them. As for community. I buy local goods from mom and pop shop. I don't shop at China Mart. AKA Walmart
Michael - Where can I purchase this 16 oz belt?
Brandon. On Facebook. Monk Leather Works
@michael monk Where do you buy American made jeans for $60. I call bullshit
High key disagree that you should follow what someone else is doing in leather craft.

Leathersmith Reviews a

great video
Thank you. That was a really cool and very inspirational video.
Nice video!
Any idea what hammer are they using?
+Slipsch rawhide mallets
love the ending
nice work!
There are always six dislikes for a video that has nothing to dislike about it.
+1
Nothing to dislike is a reach. Cinematography is bad. Footage quality is all over the place, so it's bad.
buttonstack u can't be serious such a damn hater its a leather crafts video Jesus
Very nice work. The hammer you used is great. Where can I get one like it? Will also be building one of those belt racks. Need more of these videos. Thanks for sharing.
What a beautiful craft and a pleasure to watch this short film. My only question: why in the world would 5 people hit a thumbs down on this. Really?
Love the foot operated punch.
Can you reupload this video?i cant watch.
Beautiful craftsmanship! What camera was used?
Only recently after buying a smart watch have I come to appreciate leather. To see people out there still making it by hand and backing it with quality workmanship, truly outstanding.
What do they put on the side's of the leather?
Leather paint and maybe just a soap. Sometimes I think they use a wet sponge of water. You can Google it too.
I make custom leather goods as well. The way they made these belts is nearly exactly how I would make mine. In my opinion, this means the end product is of high quality and will last a lifetime.
what the name of that thick leather you he uses to make the belts?
Veg Tan
would love to work in this workshop. =)
LOVED IT !!! THE LEATHER WORK , THE VIDEO IS AWESOME !!! I COULD ALMOST SMELL THE LEATHER , AND FEEL YOUR PASSION....YOU GUYS ARE GREAT.
nice video!
Great Piano, I wonder who the composer is_?
Sounds like Xenakis.
This is intense
great work! I got a little tip for you. When you cut the straight edge for your straps put the leather on a table whit a straight edge and cut of the things that stick out to mutch and just use the strapcutter whit the table edge as a guide. This will give you a good straight edge, and you don't need to use the ruler and knife.
Never thought of that, nice one :)
LOVE YOUR VIDEO GUYS!
