I recommend using a small knife to carefully cut along the edges where the pieces are connected, and then push up firmly from the back to take out the wooden piece.

It sounds like there might be some confusion about how the roof of your model or kit should be designed. I recommend that you can review the Instructions: Go back to the original instructions or assembly guide that came with your kit. This should give you a clearer idea of the roof.Look at pictures of the completed model from the manufacturer’s website, the box, or other sources. Compare these images with your model to see if your roof looks different or if there's an apparent misalignment or assembly error. Sometimes, product designs are updated or varied without a change in the overall kit name or branding. You might have a version where the roof is designed differently. For my kit,It is not broken apart for the roof piece. It looks like designed to be a hole on it with three branches. You can check the H4 at page 18 in your manual. Thank you for your question.
