I just saw this. When I was 20 I was diagnosed with Endometriosis. By the time I had a hysterectomy at the age of 34 I had had 6 surgeries and had been on every known hormonal treatment effective on endo. I also suffered from depression for over 20 years. So it often seemed like I had more bad days then good. Anyway, crochet had always held a special place in my heart. Fortunately I was able to get pregnant and have a healthy baby boy about 2 years before my hysterectomy. My son and my crochet kept me going!!

My mom suffers of this horrible disease... God bless you for finding your happiness through it..💜

Crochet saved me too! I survived a long abusive marriage and came out with depersonalization disorder. I was severely depressed and suffered anxiety attacks. I taught myself crochet. Crocheting helps me focus and regain self confidence. I first made lined purses and bags. Then went through a poncho phase. I found your granny square shrug pattern and made it, I wear it all the time. I love your patterns and videos. Thank you for sharing your story. You helped me find my way too.

Whole Foods Vegan lifestyle = Crohn's disease cure (the same is said for most of the first-world diseases people suffer from). At least it worked for me and there's countless other studies and cases where full reversal of Crohn's has been seen with the elimination of Animal products and the inclusion of whole food plants. sewing paper is how we were taught in home economics, years ago. Make sure you tell people to not have the needle threaded and that it does dull a needle pretty quickly! Thanks for sharing.
