Why is no-one doing airway???? And, the teaching of ALL advanced life support courses is 'NO CPR for blunt injuries' - a cardiac arrest post blunt injury is not recoverable!
How incredibly selfish and foolish of you to record an incident like this. Medical professionals are trying to save a man’s life and here you are gawking and recording the incident. How shameful...
The responding time of EMS in NYC is extremely long due to the population. Its a blessing that Hatzolah was there with EMS to save his life. For every minute that passes without CPR and defibrillation, the chances of survival decrease by 7-10%. Hats off to these volunteers!!!
From the perceived lack of effort or interest in the 2 hatzolah people, I would much rather have fire/ems working on me. I totally disagree with the hatzolah concept and it is highly hypocrytical given the historical significance of a segregation argument.
Still doesn't detract from the argument that there is no need for this type of auxiliary ambulance service in this day and age - it's the Jewish people willingly continuing the persecution principle rather than being fully cohesive in society. You don't see the Christian ambulance service, Buddhist ambulance service nor the Muslim ambulance service for that matter!
The accusation is they only care about Jews, and will bypass a non-Jew with his leg hanging by a thread to work on a Jew with a hangnail. I can't say if it's true but I've read that.
@@johnargus9081 there is another video of them packaging and transporting an Arab Pt. Struck by a vehicle. Safe to say that’s a false assumption, besides being state certified EMTS they legally cannot anyway!
Our protocols are to insert an oral airway and apply a non-rebreather for oxygen until our LUCAS can be set up and the patient can be intubated. Most agencies in our area have gone to this style of CCR. Manual breaths are still in the AHA guidelines, but a lot of agencies are moving away from manual breaths.

Shalom Yosef no, it is a Jewish volunteer ambulance organization that provides an extremely quick response to nyc residents, mainly Jews. However, they do not discriminate against other religions.
That is just not true, because Hatzolah has a response under 2 minutes since their members are scattered throughout the response area. Whereas, FDNY can take over 10 minutes to arrive due to their response model.
bonk
It took me a good 15 hours of attempts, well done

Hi hobit, hello, can I use this video on my channel? Any comment about what or where did this happen? Thanks and stay safe.

I don't think NYC FFs are EMTs I don't think they know what to do...that's why hetzolah started airway

Harry Highpants hatzolah did all the als unless fdny uniform includes dress shirts and pants
disagree, you don't know their credentials. There is no such thing is a bad job. The guy was clinically dead and his life was saved.

Barry S one of them incubated the dude. that's an als procedure
Really?? Incubated - to what temperature and were they trying to hatch something or grow a fungus?
WTF??????????????????
I don't know why people say such negative things about Hatzolah. They are very fortunate to have the system they do and are very impressive.
yeah and on top of that there all volunteers!
nico justfun exactly. Volunteer stations that have larger numbers don't realize how hard it can be to be a low member status department

Those were horrible compressions at least two inches deep and they needed to switching off and they weren't giving breaths
Manual breaths aren't a thing anymore in pit crew CCR. Only once an airway is in, which can be done once they're in the ambulance.
Yeah CCR is the new thing. There's already unused oxygen in the bloodstream. It just needs to be circulated. Compressions will ensure that
Jesse Bell wrong. take a BLS for Healthcare providers course. source i am an instructor

So, your agency says screw ACLS and science too? Because there's no reason to intubate if you can manage the patient with an OPA/NPA and BVM.
