Танец как танец. Три необходимых ингредиента есть: костюмы в определеннои стиле интересные волнующие поддержки, кульминационный момент. Все предсказуемо.

I went to see them many years ago - perhaps 20 years ago when they did a show in Lithuania with lots of other pro skaters - it was so beautiful seeing them skate live that I cried! Wonderful couple

Это был самый мощный произвольный танец на той Олимпиаде в Солт Лэйк Сити и Рита с Повиласом показали высочайший класс в катании. Как минимум - серебро должно было быть у них. Но в тот год обнажилась вся изнанка судейства танцев на льду и на первые две ступеньки пъедестала поставили пары после грубейших ошибок - падений. Как?!! В результате, самый яркий танец ОИ, великолепно исполненный, стал всего лишь четвертым. Позор судьям!

Watching them always brings me to tears. They skate with such love and passion, they skate in a way that we normally don't see now a days. People use to say that they had something to prove, braking away from the USSR team and instead skating lot Lithuania, and maybe they did. But if it's one thing i have noticed about these two starts is that they skated for the fans, and for themselves. They projected such passion and excitement, that it could get the people going and wondering what would they come up next. These two have been my inspiration when skating, even though I don't do ice dance, I wish to skate with such security as these two. Such an underated pair of stars. These two deserved so mich recognition.

They should have been 2nd at this competition and Dubreuil/Lauzon should have won. D/S only deserved being 3rd, I don't know how they got the gold with such a sloppy program. Yes, they were superior in 2004 and in 2007 but not in that certain year.

I wish this had been there 2002 Olympic FD that was how good it was

Interesting and difficult for the dance elements are performed professionally!
