Hahaha I texted with a scammer from Africa using his picture, for about a month. The scammer finally revealed to me who he was. He told me that he just uses this Korean Man's picture to get money. I was not interested in a relationship I just wanted to talk to someone in Korean. That is why The African guy from Nigeria revealed his identity because he could not speak Korean. He told me that he uses this picture on language learning apps and dating apps. He asked me to send him 300 dollars. I didn't. After this I just hired a Korean teacher to learn the language

I have been working to out scammers on several platforms, but Facebook is absolutely the worst about doing anything about it. Example: I received a friend request from "General James McConville." I did a search for the other "General McConvilles," and I stopped counting at 750. Today, I got a request from "James Albert Staurt (sic)" with your picture (with the James nameplate, as if it would be for the first name). I posted links to web pages explaining how your picture had been stolen by many scammers; let's hope potential marks read it. I can't imagine how it must be to be victimized by these criminals, and I'm sincerely sorry that you have been.

Someone was using this profile on TikTok and following people on telegram and text now under the name Alan Harwood, James McDonald
