We explore and camp in Whitstable, Kent.

The camping season is soon to end for us but before it does we heard of a campsite in Whitstable from a fellow camper (whilst we were in Hastings), which we wanted to try out.
Primrose Cottage is a small campsite just on the outskirts of the town of Whitstable.

Little "Google" overcomes his fear..

Our little dog "Google" feared crossing a bridge at a campsite we were staying at recently. He would not cross, needing us to carry him, the bridge had a concrete surface and water flowing underneath. He has shown reluctant in the past with crossing bridges, so we thought we would try to help him overcome his fear.

After much debate as to where to go next in our micro camper, we opted for Somerset and the much talked about Cheddar Gorge. We found the campsite on the Web, our criteria being 'must be dog friendly' as "Google" insist on coming. If you like the video please leave a comment, as we would like to hear your thoughts.

It's finally time to load up the micro camper and head out for a week under the stars.. Holmsley in Hampshire is our destination which is about 2.5 hours drive from our home. Noisy neighbours sends us home early.

We spent 2 nights out of 3 camping at Painters Farm campsite near Faversham, Kent. Sadly our trip was cut short by very noisy neighbours on Saturday night playing music till 11pm, so along with a poor weather forecast we decided to head home a day early. We only managed to capture a little footage of the campsite but hopefully it enough for you to see what the site offers.

Refill your gas cartridges

Using this small adapter we are able to refill our camper stove cartridges at a fraction of the cost of the larger cartridges. The larger cartridge is a mixture of butane and propane but as we do not need the ignition advantages of propane, we have found using just butane works well. Hello. Thanks for taking the time to watch our video. We went late September 2021 and the cost was £22 for grass only. I believe its £24 for electric hook up.
