A good use of SynthV Teto but I think a lot of the time she gets drowned out by the music due to the sound balancing, especially early on. maybe it's intentional in which case it's a personal taste thing but just going off my opinion i'd prefer she be a bit louder relative to the music track at times

This is a perfect example that there was something special about the Weezer sound in the 90s that can’t be duplicated even by Weezer. I love a lot of their new stuff too but if they was to remake this exactly the same it just wouldn’t have the same magic. I think it comes down to Rivers’ vocals. His vocals on Blue are just different. I don’t know what it is. I think his singing style was better with less vocal coaching. Something about it fits the vibe better. He still sounds good but there’s something kind of more melodramatic about his style I can’t explain.

This late 90s side project of his is what i want for my own band. Like, the tone, the vibe of their songs, the themes. It sounds like some very talented kids playing together in their garage for fun and that's what i want my band to be.

I think this is the definitive version of Can't Stop Partying. I genuinely love this song, and the Rivers Cuomo demo is ta bit to raw for my taste , and the Raditude version, well... But this version is missing those over the top synths and rap parts but is also not just Rivers and his guitar, it's perfect.
