When I was a little kid my grandmother took me shopping at the Falk’s Food Basket on South Main. They had a coin-operated kiddie ride which was a horse pulling an antique fire apparatus. I also liked the mini Ferris wheel at Food Fair and the Whirlybird helicopter at Acme. But I did not like losing my spare change when it dropped through the grate at Acme’s entrance.
I was born and raised there since 1978 until 1996. Brings tears to my eyes and nostalgia remembering my childhood and all of the car rides, walks, bicycle rides, school buses, Autumns, Christmas', Summers, Winters...going home with family that is no longer with me.
I grew up in this State but never visited this area it looks nice

Me too. But I moved to Sullivan County where i can afford to be after Covid. But it was good and i enjoyed my life in the sterling forest

@@Theborogirl it's awesome! I drove it one time at night and i swear i saw things pop in and out in the lights.. I believe in paranormal 100% and I would love to drive down there at 3am but i'm too big of a chicken after driving down it in the dark. lol

Many wonders in the Ringwood, Wanaque, Haskell, Pompton Lakes etc area …. I need to make friends with people who live at the end of Doty Rd in Haskell - I really want to go down their roads but I understand and respect their privacy

I love this drive so far. The perspective camera view is amazing, and it's almost like a driving simulator. What video editing software did you use?
Thank you, once my car is back from the shop, I'll be testing other camera mounting positions to get more of a POV view, regarding the edit software, I'm using Wondershare Filmora 12 - it's a pretty good "starter" editor from what I'm told via youtube videos... what I like about it there are a ton of videos on the tubes that explain the features,

Thank you! Not yet but PA is def on my list to visit - PA is beautiful, and I would love to to take a couple of days out there. I’m also still new to the game and I’m learning my camera and editing so I’m “practicing” in my local area until I get comfortable. I’m planning on going to Milford to Port Jarvis on my vacation in March!

I drove through the entire Commonwealth in 1999 and most recently been to Gettysburg in 2014 and in the Hershey area in 2018 BUT I really want to get back there and since I live in northern part of New Jersey it’s just a short trip to get up there!

if i'm not mistaken , that empty field next tp Ramapo college was used by the Mahwah ford plant to store tons of new fords, or some where in that area..of course when there was a ford plant in Mahwah.
I was wondering the same thing! I know the Ford plant was where the Jaguar HQ is now but I’ve not researched deep enough yet - it’s amazing to think that was the largest Ford plant and there are no remains left… well other than the paint sludge in Ringwood
