Quantitative data alone is not enough to understand a social problem. Qualitative data can really explain the real cause of the social problem. Example: John got bad grades because he was in a very negative learning environment. Is there a relationship between academic achievement and the learning environment?
My professor introduced me to a book you have written on the types of research designs, It is so clear and very understandable and most importantly, very helpful and I passed my research methodology module , I never knew I would see your face so soon. Thank you for sharing your wisdom on these designs and this is the reason we should not fear when a thesis or dissertation is concerned at any level of academics. I strongly advise you against self trading, it's really dangerous and had brought so many investors down, you need someone with the knowledge and strategies, someone dedicated to the crypto currency market business, and I will strongly recommend expert, Mrs Karen Charles

I'm curious how you would categorize a (self-proclaimed) mixed method study, which includes approximately ten quantitative questions, and only one qualitative one. If the qualitative question is open-ended and in-depth - would it be enough to be considered rigorous on its own?
I love the example of Battier's basketball playing using qualitative data to give a fuller picture of his performance why his teams were winning. So cool.
