I am considering doing the same, but i was thinking to put a perforated pipe in that gap and then cover with the gravel to move the water, otherwise wouldn't the water sit against the brick again, but this time under the gravel?

Just bought a Pnu Point after watching some of your videos as I've got quite a bit to tackle. Wasn't expecting to see Clipstone colliery though! Been a few times down from Yorkshire. Actually had the pleasure of watching a few short films inside the pit buildings. On a good day you can see Clipstone winding gear from the stack of Pleasely colliery. I took a picture of Pleasley winding gear and between you can see Clipstone off in the distance... A very rare sight and possible the only place you can still see 2 pits from one spot in England now? Anyway, thanks for the videos!
