Aboard the Roosevelt Island Tram, Neal & Peter realize that Kramer is waiting to arrest Neal when they reach the station, forcing Neal to make a daring escape...Matt Bomer actually performed his own stunt work, leaping from the roof of one tram car to the other in mid-air... I do not own the show or the characters; they belong to Jeff Eastin & USA Network...I am simply an awestruck viewer...

Harry Aaron Finkelman (May 26, 1914 - June 26, 1968), better known by the stage name Ziggy Elman, was an American jazz trumpeter associated with Benny Goodman, though he also led his own group known as Ziggy Elman and His Orchestra. His 1939 composition "And the Angels Sing," with lyrics by Johnny Mercer, (originally recorded in December 1938 by his own band as an instrumental, "Frailach in Swing" based on the 1918 recording of "Der Shtiller Bulgar" (The quiet Bulgar) by Abe Schwartz) became the number one song in the nation.

Matt is so full of emotion in the final minutes of the scene...When he says the line about his audition being cancelled (to cover the fact that this whole story was B.S.), for a brief second you see the real, vulnerable, scared person that Coop really is under all his bluster & big talk...This is the kind of thing that Matt excels at: letting the mask slip and showing the real underneath...Watch his eyes when he says, "...We've found somebody better and/or hotter..."

Janet Cooper The song is about a dysfunctional relationship. The male vocals describe what happened in that relationship from his point of view. It started off well, with the woman very invested in him. However, he was not fulfilled by her. Even though he was unhappy, he remained in the relationship because he was "addicted to a certain kind of sadness" and was resigned to it. In the end, he was dumped by the woman, who took steps to completely remove him from her life, including changing her number and having her friends get her things from his apartment. She did these things even though she had said that they would remain friends. Although he was happy the bad relationship was over, he is hurt by the fact that she now treats him like a stranger without any regard for what they used to have. The female vocals then describe the same relationship from her point of view. In her eyes, the relationship was also dysfunctional; he had been somewhat verbally abusive by always blaming her for every problem they had. In addition, he had been hung up on another woman. He had promised that he had gotten over it when in reality he had not. The singer eventually tires of this situation, finding it frustrating and hurtful, and ends the relationship by cutting him off entirely.

You're over-thinking it...It's about two people who don't get along, it could be any two people...This is merely an INTERPRETATION of the lyric...It's a STORY, it's fiction...Songwriters write a poem about a situation, but it doesn't mean it has actually happened to them...Chips Moman, who wrote the B.J. Thomas hit "Another Somebody Done Somebody Wrong Song," once said, "...It's like the guy who wrote 'Fly Me To The Moon' had never been to the moon...You have to have...imagination..."

It's "Can I get LIT?" As in "Lit Up" (like a light bulb) - It means to be very, VERY drunk...I think it's either one of Matt's "Texas" slang phrases, or it's from the Kansas/Oklahoma/Texas area... Usage: "That guy is so LIT UP you could read a newspaper next to him!"
