It's been a awhile since I commented to you. It's nice to see that you seem to wearing your glasses more and more often now. So your getting close to wearing them fulltime. It takes time to get used to wearing glasses when you get them for the first time. But the more you wear them the more comfortable they get to the point where you pretty much forget your wearing them. I just replied to you on a video you made shortly after you got your glasses. I was questioning you because you were in your car driving and not wearing glasses. It turned out you had a very good reason which I was hoping might have been the reason. Your first glasses were too big and you returned them for a smaller better fitting pair and you were waiting for them to come in. So since getting your right fitting glasses are you wearing them when driving now? It's now been about 7 months since you got your glasses. I'm curious what you were told in regard to getting your eyes examined again? Since these were your first glasses it can often mean your eyes were just beginning to change and you may need a slight increase in your prescription. But you should at least get them checked to see if there has been any change. In other words after one year. Actually the newest guidelines now says everyone, even if you have perfect vision, should now be getting yearly eye exams. It used to be every other year. I'm assuming the main reason for the change is due to so much screen time everyone's eyes are being exposed to. You may find this of interest. Back in 2018 a major university did a study and they found that 74% of the population were either glasses or contact lens wearers. That's been 6 year ago and I'm sure that percentage has increased a good bit more since then. So 8 months ago you were still in that small minority, now you are in the majority. By the way, you should know that there's something rather sexy about an attractive young woman wearing her glasses so far down her nose. Were you intentionally wearing them that way or did they just slide like that on their own and you didn't bother pushing them back in place? If your glasses really are getting loose you need to check the temples to see if their loose. Opening and closing glasses will cause the hinge screws to come loose and if left alone the screws will come completely out. You have had your glasses just long enough that i would expect the screws to be getting loose. You can stop in at any optical store and have them check and tighten the screws for you at no cost. You can even buy a mini screwdriver and do it yourself. It's called a "watchmakers screwdriver" Just a couple dollars in cost.

NIce to see you wearing your glasses. When you got them you said you were going to be wearing them fulltime. But clearly you haven't been doing that. And it's fine to only wear them when you feel you need them. I was thinking when you got your glasses that you were most likely nearsighted because that's the most common when someone your age needs glasses to be. But since you haven't been seen wearing glasses when driving, at least not in your videos anyway, I have to assume that you need glasses for your near vision? I've tried numerous times to get a good look thru your lenses to determine if I can see some magnification or a swirl effect in your lenses. A "swirl" would indicate an astigmatism correction in your glasses. Anyway as an optician, a retired one anyway, you really should get your glasses adjusted because their sitting a bit too low on your nose. That means the lenses are bit further away from your eyes than they should be. When they fit you with glasses they are fitting your glasses to be a certain distance in front of your eyes and even though it's only a very slight difference it is actually effecting your eyesight even though you may not be noticing it. Also no insult intended but your glasses would look better up in place rather than on the middle of your nose. That's the way old ladies tend to wear their glasses and your not wanting that look are you? hahah

So I see you got your glasses and you seem to be adjusting to wearing them pretty well. From what i have seen in your last couple videos you pretty much seem to be wearing them when doing close work and not really for distance. Maybe as you get more comfortable wearing them you may start leaving the on all the time since you said you planned on wearing them fulltime. I think I already told you that your in no way doing any harm to your eyes by wearing your glasses fulltime even of you don't actually need to wear them all the time. It's impossible to ever wear your glasses too much. Being your first glasses I'm sure your prescription is rather weak so your eyes shouldn't have had much trouble adjusting to the prescription in your glasses rather quickly. Have you tried wearing them for distance yet> I did see you wearing them when you were watching TV, but that was at a rather short distance. Driving would be a better test to see how much difference they might make. Have a great day.

Hello😇! I've never had or needed glasses😳👁👁☺, and my lovely wife got her first glasses in June. She looks super-cute with them!💙🤎I'm so glad she didn't want contacts, like her optometrist for some weird reason suggested. I'm very thankful for my super-good eyesight😍, but, don't feel bad about having glasses. I think women look BETTER with them!

I was just checking to see if you filmed any new videos since getting your glasses. Apparently not. I think you filmed this before you got your glasses remade in a smaller size. if you had them you would have been wearing them to drive as well as reading your book. You even commented that you had to stop reading because your eyes got tired. Your glasses will stop that from happening. I hope you had a wonderful holiday season. The holidays are nice, but I'm also glad their over now for another year. Actually really only about 9 months until it starts all over again.

I'm hoping the reason your not wearing your glasses to drive is because you haven't gotten the new pair yet. If your nearsighted which I have a feeling you are after haring you comment about being about to see your porch at one point in your video when you got your first glasses and were experimenting with them. Unless you strictly were told that you only need glasses when doing close work you should be wearing glasses when driving.

So if I followed you correctly you apparently only recently went for an eye exam and you found out you do have a need for glasses or contacts in your prescription. You opted for contacts rather than glasses. As a retired optician I have to tell you that was a mistake. Since this was going to be your first time wearing prescription lenses I would have to assume that the prescription you need is most likely a very weak prescription. Most doctors don't recommend any patient to start out with contacts. They generally prefer for you to wear glasses first to allow your eyes to adjust to the prescription. As it turned the contacts didn't work well you due to allergies anyway. So you then ordered glasses from Warby Parker and I'm assuming on-line because being your first glasses you had no idea what size would fit you best. I totally understand. Lucky for you that Warby Parker is one the few that offers on-line glasses as well as several actual stores. I noticed as soon as you put your glasses on that they were much to big for your face size. So you were able to exchange them for the same frame in a smaller size. That smaller frame is perfect on you. Now I couldn't really tell if what your glasses are for. The most common need for glasses is nearsightedness, but you did mention something about wearing them at work which then could mean your farsighted and need glasses for close work. Squinting when at work could be either one. But squinting does mean you need glasses for something for sure. I'm glad you were able to exchange that and the new glasses are much better fit. When you get your new glasses the first thing you should do is don't worry about that day. But the next morning as soon as you get out of bed put your glasses and wear the if possible until your back home and bout to go to bed. Do that a couple more days and your eyes should be fully adjusted to your glasses. If you have any questions about your glasses or your eyes please feel free to ask me.
