Right on. These people are THIEVES and figured out how to legally STEAL THEIR CUSTOMER' FUNDS. They permanently blocke/closed/restricted my merchant account without citing anything I may have done wrong, except to say that my account was "flagged as a risk" Unbelievable! That is all they have to say in order to lock your account and funds, even if everything you do is perfectly legitimate.

I was with stripe for 1 month. Only had low risk payments, never had a chargeback. Then just all of a sudden my account was deactivated, money frozen. I've emailed them 5 times and they have not responded. Avoid at all costs

@@revoltfootball3156 I've tried everything. They still have my money and have never responded to a single email. I wrote a complaint on BBB and they responded but didn't answer a single thing I asked. Such as when will my money be returned and why was it taken. I've read of people 11 months in and counting that still haven't had their money returned. Most seem to get it back within 3-6 months.
Damn.. Thats tough! Im on the same spot, no reponse. Im trying yo comtact them through linked in. Is there another payment procesor you recommend?

The aggregators don't actually have a say or choice when the merchant account got frozen by the acquirer. The aggregators do not have the capacity to invest your funds, but the acquirer may, as far as I know, it was just placed on a non-profit generating ledger. If they use the funds for other things that are beyond my pay grade to know. (lols) Funds are being held for up to 180 days to cover any possible chargebacks within the credit card dispute timeframe which is 180 days. It is their mitigation process for possible losses in cases of chargebacks. They wouldn't want to shoulder the cost for CBs.

Another reason to choose a Payment Facilitator. there are some real horror stories! matt with VyaPay - a true registered payment facilitator- 314-596-8236 (you wont get shut off, no volume caps)

Paypal just denied my new legitimate business's application - Found out that once the deny your app - there is not recourse, they refuse to give you any reason and you can never apply for the reader account for that business again.. I know others that have had issues with both Paypal and STripe and so - not sure but think I'm going with my back ... Flat rate, Full Cst. Support 24/7 (phone)
So you basically are saying, in order not to get ripped off, or risk Paypal and others from stealing your hard earned money with in your shop, that you took months and even years to build, it's best to go with a STANDARD merchant account??? Which is the same as paypal but through a bank right? And if so, how do you go about doing that, when you don't have a certain cash flow just yet. It would be kind of nice if I could find someone to explain this!!!!

Yes, if you accept payments by credit card you will pay a fee with any processor. Square charges 2.75% of the transaction amount, which is high for many businesses.
