I did this mod a little while ago on my 2004 NP Exceed that I have owned since new. Thankfully, I never drove in dusty conditions, so not having a filter was not an issue, but I find it so hard to believe that it was not fitted as standard. Funny thing was though, before I did the mod, my local Mitsubish Motors service centre tried to charge me for "Cabin Filter Replacement" on a regular service, even though there was no filter to replace. Lets just say I never went back to that workshop again.

Thanks for the information I'm about to trade my MK 3 in. Had this noise but breaking still ok. It explains why I got the noise.Had my Pajero 8 years sad to let it go even at 5 km per litre.

Hello. I bought T5 B8.5D bulb after watch this video. I replace bulbs. Everything is good but I realized that this size not fit every bulb. Gear and 4x4 bulbs are smaller than those. If you know can you say gear and 4x4 bulbs codes? Thank you so much

Hey mate. We just changed the accumulator in our pajero, didn't work.. changed the pump too.. still can't bleed the brakes. Nothing going thru to the rear brakes. Help!!

Great vid. The instructions say to eed the front end of the braking system, though. No issues without bleeding ? Mine is leaking brake fluid so I might just try torquing it, or replace the O ring if necessary.

Have the same exact issue and the mechanic told me that I need to change the whole break system not only the acomulator which is extremely expensive. Seeking your advice if you faced any issues when replaced the accumulator only or it's working fine, please??

Good day, very informative video; My car is a 2004, Pajero 3.0v6 with 6g72 Engine. Please advice could worn out brake pads cause the buzzing issue when brake pedal is pressed? Because mine when I press the brake pedal 3 times with the engine off and ignition on I get the small buzz sound and an abs dash light! This is the exact sound it started doing a few days back, sometimes when u apply brakes to put on reverse it will make a continuous beeping sound then goes off after barely 5 seconds!

Hi, my accumulator doesn't make the chirping noise,but the pump keeps on running every few seconds.The brakes work just fine though they feel a bit spongy.It's a 2002 Pajero ,petrol.What could be the problem?

Thanks for the video, you could use long bar , or apiece of pipe to untight or during tightening, you wouldn't require much force, it would much easier to work with the watch removed from your hand, prefable to use gloves when working with break fluid.
