Great series! The end result in the video sounds pretty different from the clip in the intro, I presume thats because of EQ and mastering? Would be nice to get some info on that
Yes, the mastered song is compressed and equalized a little bit, but the main difference is that the emulator's sound is pretty bad compared to the real Gameboy !

IDecade Music capito! Posso chiederti ancora una cosa? Tu lo usi solo con le batterie o lo colleghi anche all’alimentazione? Perché ho comprato un cavo che si collegherebbe al caricabatterie dei cellulari ma non trovo voltaggio e amperaggio del DMG. Non vorrei che a lungo andare si danneggi. Cosa mi consigli?
@@jeffb.436 io ho sempre usato le batterie ricaricabili, c'è chi sfrutta il cavo di alimentazione originale del gameboy , che è probabilmente la cosa migliore. Purtroppo non ho mai sentito prima dei cavi di cui mi parli! Se esplode tutto faccelo sapere ;) comunque credo che andando con 4 stilo, sia fatto per operare sui 6 - 7 volt
IDecade Music ciao? Ho provato un po’ il cavo e non ho avuto problemi ne di rumore ne di riscaldamenti strani. Penso che lo userò come prima opzione! Si attacca ad un qualsiasi caricabatterie a cellulare. Colgo l’occasione per farti una domanda. Consigli la modifica audio con rca o jack singolo?
@@jeffb.436 i pro delle modifiche all'output audio sono : puoi usare gli stessi cavi che useresti per qualsiasi altro strumento, eviti un po' l'usura del jack, il gameboy diventa super cool. I contro sono: tempo speso per fare la mod, dover tagliuzzare la shell del gameboy. non l'ho mai trovata una modifica necessaria, ma resta bella da vedere e da usare!

hi! probably this is happening because those videos were recorded with an older version of lsdj than the one you are using, from the version 6(if i remember) they changed the way to display the notes by 1 octave.

I don't think I've ever even heard hard/dark chiptune before, so thanks for introducing me to it! And if it's not already a thing, you may have even just invented a new subgenre of music
There are some chiptune artists that make really heavy and dark chipt-tunes actually! (covox, arottenbit, harleylikesmusic, to say a couple names) happy listening !
