Do not touch the granules without gloves and mask on. It is not safe or OSHA approved.

The amount of waste anesthetic gas in this video is not considered safe to just pump out into the room. It’s not attached to a scavenger hose or even a breathing circuit and reservoir bag so all of it escaped out into his vicinity.

Love the video. If you can do other machines that would be helpful. Ultrasounds?? Vital Sign Monitors? Set ups etc. Thanks you for your information

It is SO disappointing to see professional NOT using the PPE! If administering drug such as anesthetic gases, please use GLOVES. NEVER touch the absorbent with bare hands. Thank you.

My Congratulations on the video. I am Brazilian, Mechatronics Technician and am studying about Anesthesia Devices, only I'm having a lot in difilculdades find study materials, ie, the operating principle. Example: As the oxygen out of the Rotameter, passes through the vaporizer and then goes to the patient. As is the lime soda process? As the process of rebreathing? How it works in the Fan in the process? Your video is very good, because the viewing I get it a bit, my difficulty is the language, because my knowledge in English is very little. Will u help me? Please.

8:07 This is obviously an "elephant in the room" thing so I'm just gonna say it. "This circuit's tight bro!" =) Just kidding. Excellent and comprehensible explanations. Having an exam in a few days. This sure helped me.

I'm not a vet or a tech, but I own a vet hospital. You describe both 2400 psi that comes from the tank and the hose that carries 50 psi gas to the flow meter as high pressure. Also I infer you are suggesting high pressure O2 is flowing through the umbilical system. By modern building code, we can't have O2 over 50psi leave our fire retardant closet. From my POV 2400 is high pressure, and 50 is low pressure. Can you sort that out for me? Small tanks would not pass muster with my code officer.

If you run out of Oxygen, do you have to change it like I do my BBQ? Does the patient die if you do not change it fast enough?
