There is no specific subject for the content of this channel, it may evolve but presently I am indulging my interest in digital video. I use a combination of a mobile phone, netpad and action cam for recording.
Current content as follows;
Videos of walks through farms, footpaths, parks or nature reserves local to London Borough of Barnet as well as some videos from Oceanside in Southern California.
Places of interest whilst out and about.
US railway (maybe UK later)
Small local airports
On my additional channel @computernuggets I also include videos detailing laptop computer base removal allowing access to memory and hard drive as well as description on use of various computer software.
For now though, my enjoyment is making the videos, uploading them and sharing with whoever views them, not intending to aggressively promote the channel so shall see how it goes.

September 2024 Reopened in June 2022 as part of Brent Cross Town’s pledge to create more than 50 acres of green space, Claremont Park has been reimagined as a flourishing green space with imaginative play and sports facilities, calming water features, nature trails, a kiosk and a public art. It is space for children and adults alike to gather, stay active, explore nature and relax. The park is ...
Clitterhouse Farm, Claremont Road, NW2

September 2024 Clitterhouse Farm is a community project and is located inside Clitterhouse Playing fields. The main entrance is through a metal pedestrian ‘kissing gate’ entrance located off Claremont Road. When I visited it was late afternoon, hence no activity by the cafe. Public transport Bus: C11, 189, and 102 serve the nearest stop (Clitterhouse Road South), just a minute away on Claremont...
Midland Terrace NW2

Quaint terrace of old railway worker houses. In the early days of the railway workers were given simple homes to live in. Few cars in those days so these terraces had no roads in front, in fact they just faced an opposite terrace with a communal area between them. In those days workers were quite proud so, although poor their houses and any garden areas would be kept quite tidy. Now the rear of...
Old Mill Hill Railway - Lyndhurst Park end

Reference to my video of the Old Mill Hill Railway Nature Reserve, I mentioned the Lyndhurst Park end was overgrown with bramble when I did this walk during September 2024 and it may have been awkward for dog walkers or if wearing attire exposing one's legs. As you exit the gates to the official nature reserve it takes on a pretty overgrown appearance, the path goes to your right whereupon it i...
Old Railway Walk (Nature Reserve). Edgware, NW London

Mill Hill Old Railway Nature Reserve. (September 2024) This is a short magical route, a mini oasis amidst the hustle and bustle of surrounding Edgware, Burnt Oak and Mill Hill. Walk from Deans Lane to Lyndhurst Park along a quiet path juxtaposed to both Hale Drive and Dryfield Road, let your imagination drift back to bygone days when a steam locomotive may have been chuffing along this route. A...
Entrance to Railway Walk

Entrance to Old Mill Hill disused railway which is now a nature reserve. Off of Deans Lane, Edgware this trail runs parallel with Hale Drive and Dry field Road heading East towards Lyndhurst Park and Bunns Lane. The entrance is right by the pedestrian crossing lights seen from Westway and Hale Drive which both join Deans Lane. It is only open weekends between 10am to 4pm and is around half a mi...
Road Grinder

Fairmead Crescent, 2nd September 2024 resurfacing. A one week project doing it in sections. Amazing machinery that skims and grinds off the old surface then later more amazing machinery lays new surface at a slow walking pace. If only the Romans had had this technology, think how many roads they'd have built.
UK Road Laying Equipment

Road laying equipment used in Fairmead Crescent, Edgware, London during September 2024. Amazing how skimming the surface and subsequently relaying is almost done at a walking pace. Very similar to equipment used when I observed similar in US If only the Romans had had this equipment how many roads would they have built? Who designs these machines?

A Gentle stroll round Stoneyfields Park, Edgware
I live near here, the vertical bar is most likely for preforming a dragon flag ( placing both hands on the bar and holding yourself horizontaly using your arms) quite a tricky calisthenics move. Looking forward to return home from uni to go for some runs round there.
Used to have some nude sunbathing in hot summer days
Interesting 😀
Geoff, you are incorrect. Steeple morden was not just an american air base it was used by 11 OTU of the RAF prior to the USAAF were based there
Interesting, wasn't aware of that, having said that though the video was about the memorial which did relate to the American connection.
Christ, how it's changed. 0:03 was a decent library. 0:15 was a butchers. 0:27 was a pub, the 'Hind and Hart'. 1:14 was an off-licence where we would take glass bottles back for a few pence, then as I grew, would purchase alcohol. 1:42 was Martins news agents....I Spent my informative years on Grahame Park back in the 80's. It was never El Dorado but my God, it looks like El Shit'ole nowadays.
Sad, the surrounding Lanacre and Aerodrome Road are like mini Hong Kongs now, so overpowering and claustrophobic. As you grew up there you may find this playlist of aerial videos of the area interesting. The first listed one is of Colindale. ruclips.net/p/PL7zUZNHk1MuiKflukUBKj-CyhsKa2atDc&si=Ywq0Z464N60v9uUg
😂
Interesting. I used to live not far from there but didn't know about that nature reserve.
I see even Farrow House has gone now. Did quite a few courses there.
Interesting. I didn't know that existed.
I hope you weren't about to jump off the roof!
Had I jumped Mr @ral-tv I'd have not uploaded the video as I might have grazed my elbow thereby reducing my ability to type at the keyboard.
It's a long time since a steam roller has been seen trundling down Fairmead!
Gordon’s Bakery was closed years ago don’t know why, miss going there from time to time same with the Spa a grocery store
I used to live not far from there. Sadly, I never got to visit the park.
Nice to see leafy Edgware from the air. I used to live not too far from there!
@@ral-tv Changed a bit since your day I guess
Very smooth gear changes. Are you double de-clutching?
@@ral-tv The auto takes care of all that. Days of toe n heel long gone, not sure it matches revs though on a down change.
I just came across your video. I used to live in Weedon. My 1st driving lesson was with my father on the road from Aston Abbots in 1982. Thanks for the trip down memory lane 😊
@@GloriaClarke-r8f So glad it brought back memories. I live in London but occasionally use that route when I visit a relative near Brackley. Beautiful countryside, lovely drive.
Nice... and may it live on peacefully 🍃💚😁
Magnificent isn't it, to think they develop from a small seed or nut. Nature is amazing.
Que siga creciendo.
Beautiful
Wow que hermoso ❤
Not as big as some of Californian and Canadian Redwoods.
Not as big as the Californian or Canadian variety.
@@send2gl there aren't any canadian redwoods, only from Calfornia and China, what's the tree in this video?
@@lux0149 I think it is either a Cedar tree or a Cyprus. I'm no expert.

Dats a good old old dog doing his guarding duty ❤
He certainly is a good 'un.
Amazing effect!
Nice landing.
Yes it was!
GATWICK
City actually
The description is not an obvious link on the shorts but did mention that it was London City. Quite a nice airport for short haul trips.
Have you climbed it?
No chance
Most of that water is sewage and runoff from streets, it always has an odour about it
It is checked by www.thames21.org.uk/ and our park friends group monitor and report any issues. It is part of the Silkstream project which flows into Brent Reservoir so is monitored.
Spectacular!
Adorable 🥰💕☺️!!!!
Not my parrot but 20 years old, belongs to my GF.
Just like Edgware!
I used to live in Colindale. If I'm not mistaken, that looks like Edgware Road, although it looks a lot dowdier now than in my time there!
When people from overseas shit holes move into an area that area becomes a shit hole ....
I was in town that day as well.
I still can't believe how quiet it was, never seen a place so quiet.
The staff must be so bored.
Not sure how they can survive with that footfall
@@send2gl Very true. The rents will be huge.
I do like those American trucks with those long bonnets.
It's been suggested that Europe has the flat nose trucks as we have more ferries, so space saver.
@@send2gl Could well be the reason.
To be fair there are much taller trees in the mountains of California.
There were taller ones in that park.
Great balance!
Were you down there to visit Mrs. Wilberforce?
I've been on the Bakerloo line many times, but never as far as Kensal Green. Thank you for showing this.
Was that a poppy on the front of the train?
Great video! I've always wanted to go all the way up to Edgware tube station - this is the next best thing.
It is a nice area, you'd enjoy it.
@@send2gl I tried to get there once but somehow ended up at Mill Hill East.
Nice views of the park. Would be interesting to see the same location in the spring/summer with all the leaves on the trees.
Do you live in England?
Yes, NW London.
@@send2gl Oh nice!
