When the 60s leaders and visionaries were deleted, the system replaced them with the underworld hustlers, charlatans, and baiters. And most of our community has adopted their hardened social veneer. I don't use this word, nor do I tolerate its use around me. I don't spend an appreciable amount of BM who use such language. We have to collectively level up our games and bury these terms 6' under.

I think you’ve found a niche though 😂 I had an experience similar to yours in that, I was privy to the underbelly of human nature at a very early age. As such, folks like us have a hard time living in the moment ( I think you made a video about that). We’re so used to consistent petty betrayals, that we’re always “waiting for the other shoe to drop”, especially in inter-personal relationships 🤦‍♀️ I think it helped shape my introversion… The only thing that saved me a bit, was that I found a natural gift early on… Public Speaking!! Ironic Much? 😯 But socially, I was mess.. A lot of that anxiety had to do with “young” stuff ( proving one’s self, grades, looks, life trajectory, etc…) . Things aren’t as nerve wracking now that I’m older, but it’s a constant journey… guess that’s our cross to bear 😂 Keep Growing!!!

I thought by the time our kids were grown, making close to $50 an hour feels like minimum wage, and isn’t what it was a few years ago. My husband was like what are we buying? I told him my shopping (I didn’t buy many extras before) is down 75-80%. We don’t have dance classes, fundraisers (I use to buy most items for the kids), sports, etc.. We do have three of four kids in college, and they are trying to pay as they go, but I don’t know how anyone is making it under $130,000 a year. I work apps on the side, and I make over $20 an hour, and that barely covers any extras, not including my husband’s job, and he is union. Prices need to come down & pay needs to increase. Even the apps are all paying half of what they did just a few years ago, which is sad when everything is going up.

My goal was to hit $30/hr by the end of 2024 well…. April of 2024 I hit that goal and at the end of April I did it again. I had two full-time driving jobs both paying $30/hr/wk I was able too pay off most of my consumer debt just this year alone. I just received a raise now I’m at $32/hr.

I got three kids my self brother and my wife is the same she is a social butterfly but myself I can’t stand being social. As an educated American white man, I can say that life is very hard these days. That’s true of all races and cultures. It seems we’re all struggling these days. The new minimum wage should be $25 an hour all over. Money is a tool the powers that be use to control us.
