So neat, a nice weekend project. A square in about 1/2 hour. Nice! Thanks for sharing and showing us how to do this.
I love vintage lace and this Victorian square. I’m knitting right now but watching your tutorial as I knit. Your instructions are very clear, easy to follow. I like that as well. Cheers, enjoy your day.
Looks great. I love Waverly and now want to make this cardigan. 😊
Lovely video, I enjoyed your review and walk through Waverley, as I live in Perth, Western Australia I found it very interesting. Thanks
Thank you. I'm learning we must embrace our home as not everyone gets to visit such places.
Loved this review and walk thru Waverly, AL. I haven’t been confident enough to try this cardigan, but I really want to do it now. Thanks for the reminder to take it slow.
Thank you for watching. It is an easy to do cardigan. Let me know if you make one.
Hi Teresa and Anja, so enjoyed this interview. 🧶🫂
Lovely video Theresa. Lovely to see where you live. It’s going on my to visit list. Thank you x
Thank you! It is an enjoyable walk and the bakery is delicious!
Beautiful video !
Thank you very much!
I enjoyed your video, so peaceful and interesting
Thank you very much! Im trying to get better at videos.
Ah I loved seeing your area Teresa. It's beautiful and you present it so well. Your cardigan is lovely too and that shade of pink looks so pretty on you. xx
Thank you so much! I now want a white one, a black one...😂 So fun! Have you made one yet?
Oh what a lovely town and thanks for sharing all about it. But the star of the show is your cardigan, great job and tips too! X
Thank you Julie! It is my go to cardigan now!
I enjoyed this soo much. I love exploring small Southern towns. You have definitely inspired me to make this cardigan! Who doesn't need a new cardigan or two?
Thank you! I have started a white one now ..😂
Beautiful look at Waverly. Love the pattern and the color choice was perfect, turned out Beautiful!
Thank you so much!
Oh my I am so glad you like my pattern, your cardigan looks fantastic! You can find beautiful and interesting places everywhere you just need to look for them…. Now I really want to come and visit and stay at that B&B! Anja x
Yes! Come visit!! Thank you.
Such a beautiful pattern! It was too hot for a long-sleeved cardigan when I first saw Anja’s Venice cardigan, but now is the perfect time for a breezy cardigan! Thanks to your beautiful video, I just purchased the pattern and will add it to my queue. This also looks like the type of stitch pattern that can be worked while walking on a cool Autumn day.❤🍂
Thank you for watching. Yes it is a lovely cardigan and finally the weather is cooling down for cardigans
I live in a small railroad town and I crochet. I am looking forward to finding out what they have in common!!
Oh that's awesome! What is the name of your town?
@@Teresafromtheyarnshop Cowan, Tennessee. It is in the foothills of the Cumberland Mountains between Nashville and Chattanooga. Where do you live?
@@bethanyjohnson5598 awesome. I'm sure I have been close to there as I have gone to Nashville several times. I live now in Dadeville Alabama.
Teresa, thank you for the wonderful interview with Anja. Watching your interview and also Anja's Ophelia Live is like visiting with friends. Good job.
Hi Teresa. This is Benny. Fantastic video. Glad I just subscribed to your channel. Love you I am an Ophelian and love that family
Hi Benny! Thanks so much for watching. Love seeing all your makes!
I love your studio, my suggestion would be cosy vibes studio
Great idea! Thank you for watching!
What a delightful hour I've just spent in your company! Anja is such an inspiration to all of us and she brings joy to our lives in her wonderful creative projects. You too are a very special person and your insightful questions and gentle ways clearly helped Anja to feel comfortable. It was like sitting with two friends chatting over a cup of tea. Thank you Teresa xxx
Fabulous interview from two lovely ladies x
Thank you Julie!
What a lovely interview with Anja! I was privileged to host Anja and Dirk at my home one afternoon last year at the start of the Greenway CAL. I was so nervous that Anja was coming to my home here in the UK but immediately she made me feel at ease and she and Dirk were so friendly and chatty that the afternoon just flew. Anja was just the same as she is in the Sunday RUclips Lives even though she didn't know me at all. What a talented lady she is. Thank you Teresa for your video.
Oh I would be so nervous as well. It is great that we all can get to know her and crochet together. Thank you for watching and sharing your experience with Anja and Dirk!
Great interview, thank you Therese and Anja! 🌸🌼
Thank you Michelle for watching!
And NZ Anja 😊..thank you Teresa 😊❤🙏
Thank you so much for watching. Yes we need to get her to do a world tour!
That would be amazing ❤😊@@Teresafromtheyarnshop
A quick bit of Windermere crochet, listening before work. Here in New Zealand Don't have time to listen to all but will finish listening later
Thank you so much. I loved the Windermere and honestly all of her designs
What an extraordinary interview!! Your questions illustrate how well you know Anja! Brava! I had the pleasure of meeting Anja when she visited New York quite a few years ago. It was one of the most joyful days I had experienced in a long time. I am so happy you captured her essence in your interview. This is one case where we can agree, "you get what you see" in Anja! Thank you for this.!!
Thank you so much Janet. It must have been such a special treat to meet her in person. Someday soon I hope to do the same.
@@Teresafromtheyarnshop yes, Teresa, so special. (I was also struck by how tall she is. Lol but then again I'm only 5' 3 1/2 " 😉)
@@janetlepre7555 you are taller than I at 5'1..…😂
@@Teresafromtheyarnshop oh no. 😬
Love Anya and Dirk. Thanks for doing this interview and helping us get to know them better.
Thank you Susan for watching. They are both very generous with their time.
I’m in a crochet group at the community center and I refer to Anya as “Ophelia “. This way they remember the name of the RUclips channel.🧶
I love that Ruth. Your name is one of my favorites. I think Ophelia will be what I always call her.,.😂
Wow what a wonderful interview with Anya. I love her channel. Yes bring her to the USA. Maybe do a yoga/crochet retreat. I would be there in a flash. Anya told us on her last live of this interview. It was a way to get to know you as well Teresa & many me curious about your channel. Thank you from a canadian girl.
Thank you for watching and checking out my channel. Anja is such fun. We need to get her to Canada as well for a meet up!
Theresa! I really enjoyed this interview, I too get much inspiration from Ophelia Talks! I know it must be so much work for Anja and Dirk to run the web 58:39 shop on top of making the videos, but they seem to have it down pat now! I cannot believe it’s been 10 years! ❤
Hi. Yes they are such a powerful team together. An inspiration to us all. Thank you for watching and I'm glad you liked it.
Dear Teresa, thank you for this wonderful interview with Anja. I have enjoyed watching it very much ❤
Glad you enjoyed it! She is so fun and creative.
Great interview Teresa. Thank you so much.
Thanks for watching!
Thank you for an amazing interview with an icon in crochet ❤❤
Glad you enjoyed it!
Teresa enjoyed your sweet Texas accent. Enjoyed your interview with Anja. She has helped me in learning the correct hook I should be using for my blankets. My favorites are her granny stripe and her c2c on her Color Theory Blanket. Thanks again for the interview.
Thank you so much. I am from Alabama so I probably sound more southern than I realize. Anja is always so kind and helpful.
A delightful interview.
Thank you so much!
Teresa, I think you've put into words what I could not. Anja is very special. I have only recently found Ophelia Talks so I have a wealth of videos to go back and view. I have just started the Windermere CAL and I just love being taken on the journey she has set out for us. Thank you for the great interview!
Thank you. You will love the Windermere CAL. I'm so glad you liked our chat. It was such fun.
Hi Teresa what a fabulous interview you have done with Anja. Great questions which we would all like to have asked. It was lovely to hear how it all started and how much the community has grown over the years. I don’t know where I have been for the last few years but I only found Ophelia Talks earlier this year. I have learnt so much and I have crocheted so many different things and challenged myself to do new stitches all because of this channel. What a wonderful international group we are. Take care and I wish you every success in the future and look forward to seeing more on your channel. ❤️❤️
Thank you! Her community is the best. I'm so glad you enjoyed the interview.
You are a really good interviewer!! I have been following Anja's channel for years!! I have done almost all her calls beginning with Ode to Anna. She is such a gem!!
Thank you Bethany. It was fun to just chat with her and I love her CALs.
When you interview your mentor and are a huge fan it can be very hard, but as always Anja made this interview a comfortable conversation.
Thank you for this wonderful interview❤
Glad you enjoyed it!
Yes , Anja and her hubby are amazing . My family is in Devon UK and I found her when she first started her channel. I live in California USA they are genuinely lovely people, down to earth and also outspoken at the same time. Just a treasure to the crochet community and drama free. 🧶❤️Christy
That's awesome! She has been such a help to me and my channel.
What a wonderful interview!
Thank you Karen. She is an easy interview!
Hi Teresa. What fun to have been able to do this with Anja. I am also a fellow Ophelian here in Dallas, TX. I found her back in 2020 and haven’t stopped watching. I even went back to her earliest videos and would have them playing while I worked. And now through her I found your channel. I look forward to watching your videos. Take care. 🌼
We sound like two peas in a pod. Welcome to my channel! Anja is a delight.
Thank you Teresa for this fantastic interview! I had such fun with your questions and it really made me think about the origin of those lookbooks! I think it was something I read in one of my translations, this company produced lookbooks for their wallpaper, so actual big books with swatches in it, and my brain just took a leap and transferred the idea into video and that was around the time I was making the modern vintage blanket, and when I finished the blanket I just wanted to try it out. and the rest as they say, is history! Anja x
You are a great interviewee. The lookbooks are such a wonderful aspect of your channel!
Teresa, I want to tell you that I really enjoyed your interview with Anja, you did a fantastic job. I retired at the end of 2019 and I hadn't crochet for about 10 years. I found Anja channel in 2020 when she was just about to do her Ode to Anna CAL. I didn't even know what a CAL was so I lookup her video about What is a CAL. I jumped right in, ordered my yarn and join in my first CAL with her and have been a fan ever since. It was something about her voice and how she taught. You brought out so many things about Anja and I really, really enjoyed that interview. I want to say that I have been a fan of yours also. That southern drawl gets me every time😊. I'm a Alabama girl, born in Selma but live in Ohio now. I have watched you for sometime and I hope that your channel grow.
You are so kind! I'm so glad you enjoyed the interview. I was a nervous Nelly.😂
Such kind caring ladies. So inspiring xx
Your natural honesty is so endearing and we can all identify with having unfinished projects in our lives. Crafting and being creative is a slow process and in this modern life where it's so easy to buy ready made things, the beauty and the love put into something hand made is really worth the effort and the time. That said, life is too short to pursue something which causes us anxiety not joy and when that happens it's ok to frog it and move on. Thank you Teresa for sharing your projects xx
I love your warm friendly down-to-earth chatty style Teresa. You are a great crochet companion while I sit and crochet listening to you. I wish you every success with the publication of your CAL and I will try to follow it along with you xx
What a busy lady! Lovely work. I really loved seeing the striped triangular wrap. It looks fabulous xx
