How to help people want to change

This habitual human posture can make it very challenging to get people to embrace new ideas or initiatives. One way to counter this is to make things feels familiar - an extension of what we already have in place. Here is how to make people eage...

Basically, if you want to have something, then cause someone else to have it first. Works with everything. Listen to this paradox. To mindcontrol someone you need to first create a mind for yourself that is obsessed with controling another mind, meaning that you are tuning in to a mind that is controlled. If you dont have a mind you cant mindcontrol, and neither can you BE mindcontrolled.

9 out of 10 of the candidates shown would be considered to be Right Wing radicals today. They spoke of things that might happen, in theory, well, those things are real now. The kids who spat at returning soldiers are running whole departments of our government today. We had better get mad, and get serious or this great experiment is over.

Imo they only let DJT run because they never ever thought he could disrupt their little game. That's why now their trying so hard to off him. Exactly 💯 when you take turns playing president it's easy to put on a fake front. I turned 18 October 1992, my 1st election was Georgia H bid for his 2nd term and Bill Clinton. I voted George H. And honestly up until Trump ran I was definitely asleep, falling for their sneaky tactics. Probably around the middle of Trump's 1st term I started thinking how extremely odd our presidential elections have always gone, at least Ive been voting. Other than George H it just seems they take turns. How statistical is it that our presidents usually seem to be 2 terms then the election after the other party wins, usually serving 2 terms. They "soft" attack one another. Then they act like BFF 😅 I expect people to be civil but some of them go to far imo. What did it for me was pics of the Bushes cozied up with the Obamas at a ball game. Since then it's all just seemed so fake

Social media and biased news has ruined the US system. It’s about who can make the other look like the bad guy more while trying to look like a hero themselves. Honestly, as a non-American, I dislike Kamala because I can see her destroying the GLOBAL economy, aggravating other countries into funded wars, trying to change the constitution to remove American rights causing a civil war (how that will play out I don’t know), bending over for the mentally ill minorities and just not having the guts that’s required in a position like that.

Haven’t seen the video but from the thumbnail that is literally the opposite of true. The more educated and knowledgeable people will know what they know, will be able to make educated statements about related fields, and are more likely to say “I don’t know” or will try to find out or find someone with knowledge in that field because the more educated and informed they are the more likely they are to know what they don’t know. Dumb people have no idea how ignorant they are and are more likely to have firm beliefs in their own unerring knowledge and smartness. Just google the Dunning-Kruger effect, then extrapolate your actual smarts against how smart you think you are.

No I do disagree. I think there's just a right age. People let their kids use iPad when they are like 5 and that's definitely a problem. I'm 21 and technology as a kid was also about fitting in, and I got a phone really late, I never had the access to the internet like my friends and they always knew more about what was going on on the world than me. My friwnds would game without me. Even today with online tutorials and lectures, the consequences would be worse. My mom who got into technology alot later than me, who needed it for work. Even after upskilling sessions, 10 years later, still doesnt know things she should, simple things like settings changes etc. I think the only solution is the right age and limited screen time which increases the older you get. This also goes with how depressed people are, alot of the time technology provides an escape. Those that are happier won't rely on it as much for addiction. It is our future and we are going to be spending 8 hours on a screen everyday, we NEED to learn how to not get addicted and this does also start earlier in life. There are addictions everywhere in life but simply hiding them from your kids wont teach them anything, it just delays it. Thanks for listening to my Ted talk 😂

I agree with this approach, only, when it's someone you don't really know. However, regardless of the human story behind the person it is never okay to treat people in toxic way and that story may be a reason for the behavior but it is not an excuse.
