There is so much noise from the crowd you can't hear how good they really are. I met them with my daughter about 6 years ago in PA. and we keep in touch with them. Eli is so talented he plays several instruments. Mason is an excellent song writer and Meg has a beautiful voice.

It was even sad how Vince sounded back then, but this tour in 2022 is just PATHETIC he sounds terrible even with the backing vocal tracks. The only decrepit vocalist who's giving it his all and sounding sorta kinda okay is Axl. And compared to what he sounded like when I saw GnR at Heinz Field back in 2016, Axl sounds 3x worse this year than he did back then. I gotta admit tho, he shocked me with the notes he was hitting In don't Cry and Welcome to the Jungle back 6 yrs ago. And Night Train sounded pretty damn good too, so did rocket queen! I'm only 38 and been obsessed with GnR since I heard appetite album when I was like 5 in 1989 and Pittsburgh in 2016 was my first chance to ever see them live. It was awesome seeing slash do solos and play Jimi Hendrix, the misfits and other cover songs. Seriously Slash is one of my top 10 favorite guitarists ever and it's specifically cuz of the attitude and skill displayed on the appetite album. I mean The Illusion double LP had a few tracks that displayed his skill and writing capability, but him and Izzy's chemistry is what made Appetite. Them 2 we're just as important as Axls voice and stage presence in my opinion for their success in the late 80s. And to think Geffen Records was about to give up on them 🤣 imagine if they did though, think Abt how pissed David Geffen woulda been when they dropped the Illusion Double LP and became the biggest rock band in the world lmfao I wonder what David thought about Axl and his $80,000 per night theme parties backstage after the shows? Lol from 1960s hippie themed ones to old world Roman gladiator parties with dudes carrying in Pigs on a Spit and roasting them at the party 🤣 I can't imagine how many naked broads they had running around lololol them and Mötley Crüe we're all about the stripper culture man, those 2 bands (and Metallica) seriously saved hard rock/metal in the 80s, even tho the first 2 bands looked like ur typical 80s rocker dudes. I mean motley looked Poison/Glam -ish but they had like a punk rock aspect, still too much hair n makeup 4 my taste but I was a lil kid when Motley was on Top. I wish I could a seen GnR with Metallica back in 92 though, my god. Metallica's library of music back then woulda made for the BEST setlist man. Take out 80% if black album and it woulda been even BETTER. that garbage was the biggest smack in the face to real thrash metal fans (their entire fanbase in the 80s) and it was some sellout shit. But then on load/reload they took it even further and cut their hair n tried to follow suit with the bullshit music sound of the 90s grunge/Seattle movement, which all those bands sucked ASS except Nirvana and STP....okay I'm really high and I'm done typing now 🤣
