Showing my Sony Linear Tracking Turntable. Just picked it up from my local record shop .
I can buy a pair of these locally for 20$. How do you think they would work out as rear speakers for a surround sound setup?

Howd u hook up the table and leakers, I have a vsx-502 and it seems to be fine but I can’t get my record player or speakers to work for it
I just hooked my TT up to the phono input & ground wire was hooked up . What kind of TT do you have ? Maybe it needs a phone pre amp ?

I just picked up a pair of those, but in black. They are punchy and dynamic with good extension. I paid 6.99 at GW and they look new. I'm going to dampen the cabinets, and put by-pass film caps on the x-over.. FUN stuff!!!

Just got a pair of these when I bought some other speakers (it was an all or nothing deal). Did you update the caps on the crossover and did you hear a difference?

Did you have to take off the dust caps on the woofers and shim them before refoaming? You've inspired me to refoam my Cerwin Vegas I found at a rummage sale! Great video! Subscribed.
Thanks Aaron ! No dust cap removal or shimming . That’s the nice part of the kit . While the glue is setting you have time to adjust so there’s no contact when pushing down . Simply Speakers has a way better explanation on their website. I did the video just to show a 1st timer can do it 👍
