So question. I see some of the pups were born with short to almost no tails…. Does that come from the Aussie linage? Or is that also a scotch thing?

I remember when sky was just a pup. Just refound this channel. My scotch collie is on his second litter, mix w heeler. Amazing dad, he’s so much more intense than any other scotch collie I’ve seen, other than his working parents. I couldn’t run the place without him. He looks just like the old paintings and is all business. Not the kinda dog one brings to a dog park, but I don’t go to those either. He’s got a police dog disposition but won’t hurt a infant or a day old chick. Someday maybe I’ll get one of your pups and preserve a true line.

Our beloved Honeybun died 2 weeks ago and we are devastated. She was 14 years old. We loved that she was so intelligent, sensitive to our voices, loving, gentle, regal and the best companion! Her rich red sable and stark long white mane was striking and she just drew people to her. We know Honeybun can never be replaced, but want an Old Time Scotch Collie female with her color and long white neck and chest hair. We knew she didn’t have the long nose that seems to start at the top of the head, almond shaped eyes of the Rough Collie and only just discovered that she was actually an Old Time Scotch Collie, which is what we prefer. The question is, do they have the long hair around their neck like the Rough Collies have? And do you have any females with sable and white available?

I have one of these dogs. Seona from Pearl and Archibald Grant in Oklahoma. She is the best dog I have ever had and I have had Rough Collies, Shelties, Aussie…

Sigh.. the things humans will do to a beautiful animal just so we get a kick out of it. Painful to watch.
