I modified mine with a 5 meter 32mm hose for pond filters, took the sponge filter off and replaced it with a pleated canister filter and got some better attachments from spares 2 go. It was great before, it's something else now.

Got the 500 in a 60 ltr tank and it works a treat so have just ordered the 700 for my new 230 Ltd tank. Very easy to clean and maintain and performs very well. You could spend much more on a pump for the same performance. 10 /10.

Theres angelfish in the packaging. PLLEEAASSEE don't put one in your tank, they get huge (20cm top to bottom) and need a large tank.I keep them in a 300l.

Thanks for the video :) One thing to consider about this filter, as most filters, babyfish will get sucked into the filter and i this model right into the impeller and be shredded. So i give a shout out to the old airdriven spongefilters, totally safe for everything living in your aquarium:!

Can someone answer me please? I have the same filter but i dont know how to place him. If i put him ALL underwater the fish cant swim and stay blocked in the same spot...ALL OF THEM... and if i put him barely over the water the corydoras cant chill because they're literally pulled away... soo...what i should do?

It's a tight fit because it has to be airtight ,and that's why the slide locks are stiff. If they get even the slightest'force on' the wrong way it will compromise the receiving lock lugs on the lower body case( best to mark up the correct filter compartments/the top/bottom casings. As for the 'running to the sink before water gets everywhere, I'd suggest a small ""in line"" turn off tap which can be purchased for a few extra £s( just ordered mine via ebay for my new boyu filter canister) hope this helps, and doesn't put people off giving these filters a try)

Try to buy another filter pump, and put it in the opposite flow direction. That will kill the water flow. Good luck!

The pillbox was near the lifeboat house and that was near the top of the beach along with a lot of bungalows when we went back a few years later after a very bad winter we called into a cafeteria near Hemsby it had gone along with half the car park hemsby was a loverly place spent 10 years going on holiday to there ☹️
