Hey man, thanks for watching. The achievements aren't apart of the ROM/download. I'm linked to the Retro achievements site and earning the achievements there. They do have achievements for Fire Red!

Such a cool video to watch, let it be known that you are the first official known player to have beaten the Executioner!! I'm grateful for your videos and feedback, as many of those fixes you mentioned were thanks to you bringing them to my attention, plus it's extremely encouraging to see you enjoying and appreciating our work! Here's a few notes on some of the issues you mentioned: 35:00 actually gems occupy a different slot in equipment called a "socket" and it's icon in the UI is a circular shape. As with the rune upgrade slots, which look like upward arrows, there is a limited amount you can upgrade which is represented by a #/# displayed to the right of the socket icon. Some items have both sockets and upgrade icons, so they can be smithed with both runes and gems, but most items just allow rune upgrades. One of the bows you likely have in your inventory has gem sockets. 36:30 you should definitely buy elixirs from the merchant, as they will permanently upgrade one point of the respective skill. They are essentially a shortcut to leveling up. 40:15 the poison is indeed draining your mana, but not directly. The mana shield works by transferring all incoming damage to your mana pool until you run out of mana. Once your mana pool is drained the mana shield will deactivate until you cast it again. So the damage over time of the poison is actually draining your mana as a result of the active mana shield. 50:00 aww man...that's a huge bug, I'll be getting that fixed asap! Glad to see you aren't taking too much advantage of it 56:00 congrats, heck yeah!! Glad you didn't get caught standing in his fart gas ;) 56:35 axes and two-handed swords are in the full game, but their animation needs a lot of work, as my primary focus has been on the one-handed melee weapons, so the attacks and animations are a bit wonky, definitely still a work-in-progress, but the Executioners' axe is a preview of what's yet to come in the full game! 01:00:00 interesting that geometry by the village spirit is loading late, haven't seen that one before... Thanks so much for such a great series of videos showcasing our game, you really made us proud!

If they are permanent then I should 100% be buying them, like ya said, basically an extra level! Thanks for explaining the mana shield, I guess I hadn't noticed until I was getting DOT from the poison, after fighting something I would just see no mana or shield left lol. Yeah, I took a bit of advantage of the bug, but I think I still beat him properly. I didn't wear him down lower than where his health was the previous attempt 😅

Nope, not a mod, it is the variant missile ammo "Hive Missile" as you can see it shoots a hive of mini missiles. There is also a similar one for mini nukes called "Tiny Tots". The main Gunner Runners store almost always has both for sale 😁

Thanks so much for another great video!! Great feedback as always and it's really cool to see you mastering the combat so much more now, plus your dialog is a seriously crackin me up, definitely put a smile on my face! Here's some feedback on some of the points / issues you brought up / encountered: 19:00 yeah that was definitely a bug, I'll get that fixed 23:00 shield guy respawned on the docks because it must have been 8 minutes since you last killed him 24:00 sometimes you just gotta run through and grab all the stuff with no weapons equipped, no shame in that! 25:15 glad to see you using the stomp! It really is satisfying IMO 26:50 yup, after 8 minutes from the time you kill them each individual enemy will respawn. there is an audio cue that is played when it happens but it is ranged based so depending on their distance you may not hear it. I may adjust that to be a further range so you hear it more often 32:00 yup, that's a fart! Consider it a parting gift from the Glutton 38:00 yup, there's the 8 minute respawn, the audio cue was played but it was very faint, so I'll look into making that louder as it was barely audible. Additionally, they aren't suppose to spawn in when visible in the camera frustum as it looks hacky, so it appears that's also an issue I need to look into 43:45 you explained the Vitality functionality correctly, but on a side note there is a benefit to fighting Red enemies, as they also have an experience multiplier so you get more experience from the same enemy if you kill them while their name is Red 47:00 with the exception of the Boss behind the gate in the middle of the village, that cave is basically the end of the demo content 52:15 it's probably best to take out the Crazed Reaper with fireballs first, as pretty much all the rest of the enemies you can run away from in that area. I usually just kite them one at a time out that hallway entrance but I try to do it fast enough so that nothing respawns behind me 54:30 the quests are actually items you need to give the merchant, but there is a bug in that build where you a prompt is missing from the merchant. That will be addressed soon as well. Thanks again!!

Thanks so much for playing Eternal Knight, it was very fun to watch and you did quite well considering the inherent difficulty level of the game. Here are some clarifications and responses to many of the keys points you raised throughout the video: 09:50 - the Demo Cutlass is a demo-only weapon which is slightly overpowered for the beginning of the game in order to make the enemies a bit more manageable. You will deal the most damage and also benefit from the +1 Endurance Skill modifier until you have found better equipment later in some of the harder areas of the demo. 10:44 - currently there is no feature that allows controller button re-mapping in the demo, but that will be available in the final release. 12:50 - keep in mind there is also a hip-fire ranged attack which does less damage but doesn't require drawing the string back or as much stamina 15:30 - roll and dodge don't have minimum stamina requirements to execute, but they do consume stamina when used. What was likely holding you back from rolling was the end of the last attack you executed, which has a small amount of frames in the animation before you can roll 14:40 - yes, the purpose of the Arcane Dagger is so you will always have a default melee weapon to fall back on should you drop all your equipment in death 21:00 - if you Leap Attack into the back of an unaware Ruined Corpse you can knock them off the bridge 23:10 - when running into danger to get your corpse, tapping the button to pick up your equipment is beneficial as you can then die immediately and you will respawn with your corpse recovered in your inventory. If you re-equip by holding the button you will drop your corpse again upon death, so there is a valuable use-case for both options. I would typically suggest slow playing it and killing each enemy on the way to where your corpse is if you plan to have the time to re-equip. 30:00 - ascending spells make them stronger as it increases the selected spells' individual level, when a spells level goes up, it's damage / duration and mana cost will increase. In order to compensate for this increase, you need to put points into the Intelligence skill or wear equipment that has an Intelligence Skill modifier to increase your available mana. 32:00 - your corpse pickup is stuck in the rafters, this is a bug and has been fixed locally in v0.1.011 which will be released in the next few days 33:10 - your equipment is sorted automatically from left top right top to bottom in the grid by it's value. The value is primarily driven by it's strength and attributes, so in most cases, the very first item in the top left of the grid is the strongest one in your inventory. 34:15 - sneak attacks do more damage, which is why your weapon seems to be getting such a high amount of damage at times, although it doesn't say "critical" in this case. This is also true for attacks on enemies who are either laying on the grounded or in the process of standing up. 36:00 - corpse bug - fixed in v1.0.011 38:00 - the Crazed Reaper is intended to be an enemy that you come back to when you have level up a bit, especially Intelligence, as you can kill one with 3 subsequent fireballs. Not every enemy is intended to be killable with the standard approach, but rather we want you to have to think outside the box about how to overcome some of these enemies, which encourages you to use all your abilities, not just a sword, or bow. This enemy is also a single-spawn enemy who's guarding a door and a ring pickup, so he warrants a higher degree of difficulty. There is a main straight-forward path in the game, but there are side paths as well, not all paths are equal in difficultly, so the idea is you can always just push forward elsewhere and then come back later when you encounter an one that is just too difficult. What you will find as you play, when you've leveled up your skills, found the merchant and leveled up your equipment, is the Ruined Corpses will become extremely easy 1-hit kills and you will be able to take a hit from one of their two-handed attacks. 39:40 - stamina can be increased by leveling up Endurance or by wearing the right equipment, i.e. the Demo Cutlass 43:30 - the Corpses, Guards, Swordsmen, Soldiers and the Gluttons all have a vulnerability to fire. They also have a resistance to magic, but the magicians bolt is meant for other enemies who have a vulnerability to magic. 44:30 - admittedly, the name of some of these items like "cat o nine tails" are misleading, as they are names of weapons but they are just loot items which can be sold for gold at the merchant and currently have no other purpose. This will likely be addressed soon as it is confusing. 45:00 - armor is not currently planned for the first release, as the amount of time it would take to give the player interchangeable armor would expand the development process too much at this point, so it has been put on hold. You do however, have a form of armor which is the Resilience skill. 50:00 - yes, there are no character classes in this game, you are encouraged to utilize a hybrid of melee, ranged and magic at all times, although it would be possible to allocate skill points favoring any of the three. 52:20 - yes, there is a merchant in the demo whom you can sell to, buy from and smith certain equipment, he also has several quests you can complete which you can learn about by speaking with him. Once you visit the merchant and upgrade your best sword with Runes, you will start killing Ruined Corpses in a single Leap Attack. 56:05 - the Resilience skill level appearing green with a value of zero is a bug, this is also fixed in version v1.0.011 57:20 - you got it, the Arcane / Spell Level vs the Intelligence level is the duality between the two aspects of the magic system 59:50 - the Ruined Corpse tuning is not a bug, it is intentional. There are techniques to beat these enemies even with the Arcane Dagger at level 1, as shown in these two videos: ruclips.net/video/6ZMOBddlm_8/видео.htmlsi=DAdY7gJgaJvrf8mR ruclips.net/video/NPxhPoVmB-A/видео.htmlsi=ExKFfJAyTvU6nTZ3 While chances are most players will run up to them and try to kill them head on, the idea is to encourage the player to adapt to waiting for the corpse to take the first swing and then attacking them as they recoil from their attack. 01:08:20 - you need to level up Intelligence to fire 3 fireballs to break the block of the Ruined Soldier, otherwise you can just run by him until you are ready to take him on. 01:09:00 - you can equip up to 5 rings at once, so by only equipping one of the 3 you have you are not getting all the benefits you have available. 01:13:00 - you did extra damage to the Ruined Guard because he was in the process of standing up, which gives you bonus damage 01:14:00 - only enemies who carry shields can be staggered, as they have a stamina meter and so they will be staggered once that stamina is fully drained by you attacks. Conversely, the player can only be staggered when blocking and an attack drains his stamina fully, so it's best to get to know which enemies you can effectively blocked and which ones you should dodge or not engage, which is all relative to the amount of damage they do, the amount of stamina you have and the poise of your shield. 01:15:50 - hint, the Iron Key you picked up unlocks the gate to the merchant 01:17:00 - again, once you level up your equipment and certain skills you will see a huge improvement in your ability to kill these enemies, especially the Ruined Corpse which becomes a one-hit kill and will actually feel too easy. That said, if you die and drop your equipment, suddenly they'll be hard again, so the challenge isn't totally ruined. 01:20:20 - that is the path tot he next area in the full game, which is out-of-bounds in the demo. The verbiage there is misleading, as it's not really the "End" of the demo since there is a ton more content behind those locked gates you encountered in the mountain woods and the village. 01:21:30 - when the Glutton hit you his damage was enough to drain your stamina and health fully, but the fact that your stamina appeared full is a bug, this has been fixed in v1.0.011
