When I was a little girl my sister would dress me up in jewelry and clothes and play this song spinning me around oh nostalgia 😂❤ love you😂❤
Love you girl lol 😂❤

👍👍
Thanks for giving a fresh perspective 😂❤
Thanks so much!!
First of its kind .
Also know this , that was the of its kind . In the 70s society had never seen anything like the Exorcist.. it was traumatizing to the world . 🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃
But guys remember he didn’t die , he was taken to a secure facility. He then returned in a later exorcist movie .
I rewatched Friends a month ago, and all that I could say after I watched the first season was "Damn, I can't look at Chandler the same way ever again."
I know, it's really sad how things turned out.
Courtney 100% reminds me of Cruel Intentions and Kathryn is the OG
1994 was a pretty awesome year for movies. Speed, True Lies, Forrest Gump, Clear and Present Danger, Pulp Fiction, The Crow, The Shawshank Redemption, The Mask, The Lion King, etc.
Absolutely. Huge hits and memorable movies!
Get to the movie . I am not interested about the talking about it, all i want is watch the movie!!
Lol you're in the wrong place! This is a podcast. Not a free movie. But thanks a lot for your kind words...
Jawbreaker is a staple movie from my millennial childhood lol. I hope Darren makes more movies.
You are full of shit...😂😂😂
I love this!
Thank you!!
What!! He died because she lied that he physically harmed her, she was manipulative, despicable, narcissistic, jealous, she didn’t even care he died, she was horrible! Katheryn was complicit in the demise of other women as well, including going after that one girl, she was just as bad as Sebastian.
Definitely! She was just as bad as Sebastian, so my guests are saying that she got the worse reputation in the end because Sebastian got off easy by dying. Interesting to think about. The full chat is here on RUclips.
Thanks for having me on Mark! Can’t wait to collab again!
Thank you Antonio for an awesome chat! Loved it! Just subscribed to your page.
Very suspenseful and intricate teen movie!
Agreed!
This movie spawned a marriage, 2 children, and a life-long friendship. A bunch of before the millennium talent many who are still relevant. Good choice.
Exactly! It's a pop culture milestone for sure. Thanks!
How the hell has it been 30 years since this movie has been released? No way! Humph.... That's great!
Haha I know! Time flies when you're looking for Mary Samsonite!
Being from Texas. 13 in 99. And absolutely not from the rural South (inner city)......I still loved this movie. It was a Texas themed movie to a world i didnt even know. When i got to college in small town Texas, is when i saw those characters come to life. It was a culture shock to me, but then i was to them. In amy sense. I cant believe its 25 years since 99. Such a special year overall for arguably the greatest year of cinema, & Varsity Blues was the start of it.
Wow, that's an interesting experience! Culture shock within the same state. Yeah, 1999 had so many great films of all genres. It's hard picking just some to talk about this year on the show!
@releasedaterewind I grew up in inner city Houston. In a 80% Latino neighborhood filled with mostly immigrants & hardly any white people. In the 90s? At times it felt like parts of Chicago or L.A.. I wouldn't know what rural TX was like. If it hadn't been for Varsity Blues. I met folks in college that couldn't even wrap their heads around my environment. But that's what going off to school was about. I'd say that's true for any huge city vs the rural parts of its state. Though Texas demographics have changed a ton since I was a kid.
I enjoyed this. Thanks! Seems like Melissa and I have similar tastes. Anyways, you mentioned that You Got Mail! would make a good musical. Well, "She Loves Me" has already been revived on Broadway and it is based on the same source material as YGM.
Thanks so much! Yes, I need to finally check out She Loves Me sometime. I've heard great things about that classic show. It would still be fun to see a specific You've Got Mail adaptation on stage, with the computer screens projected and all that.
Boring zzzz. Zzzzz zzzzz
How sad for you. Thoughts & prayers.
No disrespect but y'all didn't give this film justice at all with the review. For example not knowing Father Karras's name.
It’s a shame we couldn’t impress you, but thank you for watching! Sorry that we’re humans, not AI with perfectly crafted data. I’ll have to have you on the show sometime so you can share all your knowledge! In the meantime, good luck with your own videos!
I would love to see you review the movie pleasantville
Great idea and great movie! That was on my list of films to consider this year, since it turned 25 in October, but I went with other October releases Practical Magic and The Nightmare Before Christmas instead. Maybe for its 30th anniversary in 2028!
This made me so freaking happy! Blade is a sacred in my household and one of my biggest inspirations as a writer. Also, I feel the same about Deacon as Katie does. I had no idea there was someone out there which feels so much about him, besides me. Geeked out so much!
Haha thanks so much! Love to hear that, and I appreciate your positive feedback. You're not alone about Deacon! Hope you enjoy other episodes too
I find it interesting that so many reviewers find the tone inconsistent, when I think the tone is pretty consistent with a light fantasy type of story. Like, bits of comedy, whimsy, romance, and scary bits are part of that genre, and arguably this movie is too. Think of movies like Ladyhawk, for example. Which is a bit less whimsical, but definitely has comedy in it. I also like the elements of a "family chronicle" book genre, which isn't really big as a movie genre, but is really popular in books, in both the little bit uptight/wholesome "and then they fell in love" type of stories, but also the "and this is how this family came to be like this/cursed like this" (like house of the spirits, or the stone diaries). The aunts were hoping Sally would have a little romance, a fling, and have some fun with someone she already liked. And then she really fell in love, which the aunts hadn't expected. It's not that they wanted her to fall in love and her husband to die, they saw her looking at that guy, and they saw that she made the petals drop, so they pushed her to do something about it. It's definitely a movie aimed at women mostly, and I think it speaks to sisters specifically. I watched it with one of my sisters, and I love how the story is really about their sisterly bond and the way it ebbs and flows, and grows, and almost is severed by Jimmy, but ultimately strengthened.
This sucks , wished it was the movie later 0:04
This is a podcast episode, as is mentioned at the very start of this video and in the description. Use JustWatch.com to see how you can stream the movie.
It's not the movie
Correct. Like I mention at the start of the video and in the description, this is a podcast. Use JustWatch.com to see how you can stream the movie.
Great show! I just stumbled upon this film on Hulu I had no idea what it was but I knew macualy culkin being evil was something to see, regarding the mothers choice, I don’t think it was a major leap, Henry must’ve been exhibiting some kinds of behavior that she probably was brushing off
Definitely! Great movie! Glad you just watched it!
Best American film of 1963. Second best is Shock Corridor.
No shit!
Will watch this movie when it comes in a different channel.
Get to the movie. Too much talking.
Lol it's a podcast. It's all talking. There is no free movie here.
You guys are hilarious
Thank you!!
Promo`SM 😘
I don’t remember a lot of people in my middle/high school watching this, but my friend group did. We watched weekly, and were 100% team Dawson. I don’t understand why anymore 😂. With every rewatch I wonder why and HOW we wrote Pacey off so unapologetically.
Haha! That's too funny. Yeah, Dawson was... a lot.
Great audio
Thank you!
Don't say a thing about Neve's wig 😂😂😂 kidding
Haha we say it with love! Very Peter Pan lol
CORRECTION: At 27:20, I talk about Chad Michael Murray, but got my WB shows mixed up! The moment I mention and show here is from One Tree Hill, not from Dawson's Creek (but there was a similar naked scene for him in Season 5 that you can watch here: ruclips.net/video/UA5Xxi6tvMI/видео.html&ab_channel=ChadLindoo).
