Amazing video Will, I'll ping this through to a couple of my friends who have asked me "how do I start". Another thing to add here that I've learned on my journey, quitting the job or cutting it right back, is only step one. You keep developing and taking on more risks to try grow. It's a constant return on investment game from start to finish. Whether that's the time gained by quitting, to onboarding another staff member or perhaps investing heavily into one influencer. These are all sacrifices and opportunity costs at the end of the day.

There’s no “secrete formula” or special thing you must do to become successful in life. Success is also dependent on each person’s unique life. Success to one might be making six figures and having a nice house and car, while to another person, it might just be graduating university… The truth is, good habits and consistency are more relevant to success. When a person decides to wake up early each day and eat healthier for 30 days.. (to get their brains used to the change) eventually, they will get used to it. They will noticed that they no longer get tired as much and some how have more time in the day… the better nutrition gives their brains clarity. With mental clarity, you now have the ability to pick a hobby you enjoy that helps you feel fulfilled. Maybe it’s going to the gym, or doing photography in nature. It’s something you would have never considered if you are tired and have a “clouded” mind due, to bad Habits and bad nutrition. (It’s not what you do, it’s HOW you do it) Over time, you will feel less stressed and actually see changes in your life to get you closer to whatever unique situation you consider “success” Conclusion: good habits and consistency will create a chain reaction. That will lead to mental clarity and tranquility in your life. This is how you push negativity away and are able to finally focus on success.

Yh man great vid it isn't hard to test the market. Thats the beauty of organic marketing. The product will sell itself and naturally make itself around the market via word of mouth. The problem is people think they need to do a song and dance, get investors and everything else under the sun just to start let alone validate!

Amazing story very insightful. Micro influencers is definitely a lot more powerful than ads in a lot of regards, Gymshark, MVMT, Daniel Wellington, SNOW, Fashion Nova were really the pioneers and champions of it for smaller brands to explode in growth in the early days, but most people just don’t know how to execute on it properly and make the most of it.

But you wouldn’t be able to afford 40k in your earlier stages of the business. I would still focus on books, RUclips videos, free courses, articles, speaking to people in the network. So I wouldn’t kick myself too much about it

Have you thought of using a Influencer marketing agency? What are the pros and cons if that

Yeah I wouldn't recommend macro / mega / high priced influencers if you have no proof of concept with influencer marketing i.e. not graduated from using micro influencers (and had not been profitable with that). Just like with FB ads, you can't scale an angle / ad type that isn't resonating.

just a tip, show some juicy results. i would subscribe immediately. but the fact viewers can't verify if you're actually doing numbers or talking air may hold people back

Yh mate you described the 80/20 rule (pareto principle) & the Compound Effect its definitely something to keep in mind at all times for sure because its occurring in real time with almost every single business action!

Really liked the decision making process here. it's always tough because accessibility may be high but influence may not be. But I guess it puts you in a better frame of mind to not get oneitis for a creator. Some of the quotes I've rejected then their rep has come back a couple weeks later with a huge wipe off the price, up to as much as 50%. Some times i feel like its the agency just factoring in their cut.
