We hear ya! Isolation is key for so many. Try putting your hand on the area you want to activate and use that tactile cue to assist. It's a game changer!

why? It should be giving you a strong stretch across the hip flexor if you feel it elsewhere, let us know and we can help.

It's one of our favorites and you can do it in the doorway as well! Key is to lock in rotation first before reaching arm overhead! Keep it up and let us know if you need any further assistance. We do offer virtual visits!

What if the tilt is on one side? I have left glute dominance and struggle with building muscle in my right glute unless I isolate. Groin and lower back pain and lumbar spine stiffness on the left. When sitting, it feels like the left side of my pelvis is further back than my right. When I lay on my back, the right side of my pelvis (illium?) is poking out above my pubic bone but my left side feels sunken in.
This can often happen with leg dominance and arm dominance patterns. Hard to say exactly what to do to fix, but you might be battling a rotated pelvis. There are some easy ways to assess for this and self-correct. We would be happy to help if you'd like to give us a call and schedule a virtual mtg or in person visit. We'll also try to put up a post about this very issue soon. Sorry for the delayed response, but the holidays were especially busy this year!

I did physio. After a stroke. My left foot was fine but after i did physio my second mall toe on my left feet is cramping on its own it really pains and it gets stiff. I don't know why. Because the physiotherapist I went to was supposed to work on my left hand which isn't working. But she made My left foot worse 😢 wat do I do? Please help me

Cramping can be caused by a myriad of reasons and often does come into play after a stroke. To provide a good answer, we'd need to know a lot more about your case and what things you've tried and attempted. Putting the box behind you will not only provide support should you lose balance and control, but it's also a good cue to give your mind to sit back before just bending the knees. Establishing a good hip hinge is step one usually and we then train people to begin getting lower and developing balance, core control, etc.

Nope, definitely not.
Sounds like you're hitting a nerve or getting some referrals from the nerves exiting your neck region. We'd recommend backing off a bit and adjusting the height of the ball to make sure the pressure is only felt in the region the ball is placed.

We'd suggest finding a sport band or cord with handles. You are correct in that some bands just don't have the strength to tolerate this exercise, but if you get the higher quality equipment, this exercise is a game changer for activating the anterior sling/core needed to protect your spine!

how many times a day would you do it? will this make your tilt even?
We recommend 20-30x a day if you battle lower back soreness. The tilting will help move fluid out of your lower discs.
