I love it when authors recap the previous books in a series, especially when it's been a while since the previous book came out! For Ireland recommendations, I really enjoyed Trespasses by Louise Kennedy and Kala by Colin Walsh (the audiobook in particular for Kala was really well narrated). However both are a little slower to get into so might not be ideal for the readathon. Thought I'd mentioned just in case!

For Holiday romance, I loved The Mistletoe Motive by Chloe Liese. It's a novella set in a bookstore. You could also use Chloe Liese for enemies to lovers (Two Wrongs Make A Right) and sports (Only When It's Us or any of the Bergman Brothers series really)

Wow, that's a lot of prompts! I just read a graphic novel that was based on Frankenstein, which should count as HORROR, but there were nothing really scary in it: M is for Monster by Talia Dutton. For WITCHY I thought of Which Witch by Eva Ibbotson - also works for ORPHAN and one more prompt that would be a spoiler. 😄 TIME TRAVEL: This Time Tomorrow by Emma Straub maybe?

I have a different problem with bookmarks where I can never find one when I need one. I also keep leaving them in books after I've finished them and only realise when I go to put them back on the shelves 😅

Also I know David Tennant has been announced for Thursday Murder Club, but I don't know who he will be playing, I expect him to be excellent for whoever it is.

Ooh I 'd love to see Time Shelter be a group read. I've had it on my shelves since it won the International Booker last year, and of course Bulgaria hasn't participated either year...

I've been really busy at work but I already started building my TBR, one of the most joyful parts of this readathon. I'm a member of several bookclubs. The funny thing is all of my book clubs are reading either American or African or Turkish or Far East Asian literature in April and May 😂 It's always the case and makes it more challenging for me 😅

European travel for monstrous.. is really good. I dont think you have to have read the first one to enjoy it. You could always read the first book before Eurovisionathon starts. I plan to do a lot of travel books as well this time. I read Nul points last year really liked it

Have you read the book The Hands of the Emperor? It has a heavy focus on platonic relationships, and is one of my favorite books! (It's *very* long though)

Love the idea of focusing on platonic love! My first thought was the love of a city/place, similar to your love of a country, but I'm not sure if I know of any books like that, but I'm curious! I'm currently rereading Beartown and Us against you by Fredrik Backman, which are great recommendations for both love of family, friends, and hobby (although a bit chunky maybe). A lot of Backman's books would be great for those prompts.
