I’m gonna go back and watch your start … I’m not gonna give spoilers because I’ve played through with seven characters and a few builds. I will say this after playing cyberpunk I don’t want to play anything else and I’ve been playing video games since their beginning like digital ping pong.

And hearing it now, it sounds to me like Wrex's VA deliberately tried to sound a little bit like Admiral Ackbar when he said "It's a trap!" Which is flipping brilliant. Edit: 39:04 The geth were surrounding a crashed probe, not the wreckage of a crashed transport, so I don't think there were any people here in the first place. It looks like the geth forged a fake distress call in order to stage this ambush. Edit 2: 43:02 Kind of weird to complain about your team not having anyone trained to deal with bombs after your team set off a jury-rigged nuke several episodes ago.

I love that you found Skippy early in the game - Skippy is awesome! 😀 One thing to keep in mind - Skippy is a smart weapon, which requires a smartlink to fully utilize. Go see Wakako - she'll give you one for free.

Interesting note on the corpo that you saved from the cops - if you play as a Streetkid you have an option to talk to the cops, and learn that the dude is a scumbag who totally deserves the beating the cops were giving him!

I romanced Kaidan in a couple of my OG Mass Effect Trilogy playthroughs. He's kind of a boy scout, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. I thought he was a better option than the mildly annoying damsel in distress who did absolutely nothing to help me while I got my butt whooped by a krogan. But whatever, I have unpopular Mass Effect opinions. Edit: Ray, say hello to your first thresher maw encounter. Have fun! 🙃

It might be useful to know that Husks are instant-killed by any attack that knocks them off their feet, such as Throw, Singularity, or Shockwave (all powers that you have, and that Jack has). Shockwave in particular is perfect for clearing groups of advancing Husks.

This scion fight might be my least favorite in the entire series.

You should have done the side missions in ME1. You have hit against an exposition problem ME2 has, that the player doesn't have a good idea how dangerous and twisted Cerberus is if you do not do the ME1 missions.

If you’d sent Jackie’s body to his family instead of Viktor you would have received a quest to attend Jackie’s funeral. It would also have allowed you to get Jackie’s guns a couple of days later. Cyberpunk can be overwhelming early because there really is so much to do in Night City. It’s all about understanding the map and your journal to keep everything organized and figure out what you want to do. You can easily play this game for 40-50 hours and not have to touch the main storyline.

I was waiting for someone in the chat to mention that melee attacks would knock out the infected colonists without unaliving them, but nobody did. At least Ray figured it out eventually.

In the OG ME1, I remember there being a brief cutscene when your squad rocks up to the ExoGeni building in the Mako and your squadmates have some dialogue commenting on the big geth ship anchored to the side of the building. I remember Ashley saying that the geth ship was "subtle as a boot to the face." What happened to that cutscene in Legendary Edition? That Ash line was one of my favorite bits of dialogue in the game. Edit: I just started watching Part 10 and I came back here to let everyone know that I found the line. Turns out it was from a different cutscene.

So the clothes you wear you equip in the inventory. This allows you to wear clothes that give you the bonuses you want such as armour or upload speed for quickhacks. The wardrobe is where you create 6 outfits for transmog so you can look how you want without it affecting your stats. Once you have set a wardrobe outfit you can switch to it in the inventory screen whenever you want without actually having to have the item on you. Also, you cannot romance Takemura. One of the weaker points of this game are the romance options. As a female voiced V you can romance Judy and River. As a male voiced V you can romance Panam, River and Kerry. River and Kerry are NPC’s tied to fairly extensive side storylines so even meeting them becomes optional.

That final moment choosing where to send Jackie's body is one of the interesting decisions in the game (and a reason to play through the game more than once), because it affects later moments in the game. For example, if you'd sent him to his family, you'd get invited to the funeral (which is a really good interaction with Misty). But sending him to Viktor has other impacts on future encounters.

Detonations are hard to do in ME2, from what I remember. Also, I don't think biotic detonations work when blue shields are still up.

To be ignored" is Joker's reaction to being told he's not Batman's greatest enemy in the LEGO Batman movie :D Okeer's pretty much saying: "You're so proud of your solution for stopping the Krogan but we're just going to go right back to conquering like it never happened". It's like if after China built the Great Wall, the Mongols had just parkoured over it like it was nothing.

General rule of thumb, take everything that isn’t nailed down. As for weapons, keep the iconic weapons, the ones with a specific name and the fancy yellow background. They are some of the better guns in the game. As you get deeper in the game money doesn’t become much of an issue. There are places you can farm weapons that will get you good money. Add a silencer to a pistol and stealth becomes easier, especially later in the game when you can one shot headshot enemies.

Unless you plan on not using Cyberware, Technical Ability is the one thing you need to put points into. It increases your overall cyberware capacity and unlocks some of the better cyberware in the game.
