Thanks bro! Worked for me. If your programming second fob you have to do both. So lock, lock, unlock first fob, lock, unlock, lock second fob. At least I think that’s what I did
Glad the video helped! & Yes sir I forgot to put that in the video but it is in the description!
Works for ek 1995?
No sir, but the the instruction’s for your car are similar to the del sol & they are as follows: Turn ignition to the ON position (the position just be before starting the car) 2. Locate the valet/disarm button which is located below the steering wheel. Press and HOLD the button until step 6 4. A light in the dash will flash to confirm the vehicle has entered programming mode. 5. With the remote key chain loop facing downwards press the top button. A light will flash to confirm the remote has been programmed. Repeat this step for any additional remotes that you wish to program. 6. RELASE the valet/disarm button. Programming is complete. Hope this helped! ✅
@@Brenden.Riley.what is the valet/disarm button?
I have pioneer radio not the oem honda
@austinealeson1273 Sorry to hear that man. I believe you do need the stock radio to pair a new fob.
@@Brenden.Riley. thankyou sir. Ill get one of that ill message u then
Sir do i need to install module? Thanks
USDM Civic EX and Si coupes and sedans have standard keyless entry from the factory. For the '96-'98 EX coupes and sedans, if you remove the factory radio you will also be removing the keyless entry brain. So, it depends on your year model & trim for what you would need to add keyless entry to your car.
Thank you so much sir. I have 99 civic lx.
Absolutely! Hope you enjoy the keyless entry!
Yes it works!!! Thank you sir🎉
@@sammytablarin6450 Awesome, glad to hear it man & of course! 😁
Does the trunk button work?
No, unfortunately they never made an electronic trunk release for this generation; not even for Integra’s. The trunk button acts as a second alarm button, same with the “option” button remote.
Does this also work on my honda del sol from 1996? It does have powered locks so im curious if i could set this up
You can but the process is different: Prepare Vehicle TURN Ignition to the ON (II) position (just shy of cranking engine). Enter Programming Mode PRESS and HOLD the VALET/DISARM Button located between the AM/FM and CD/TAPE Buttons. The vehicle will respond by cycling the door locks LOCK/UNLOCK, indicating successful entry into Programming Mode. HOLD the VALET/DISARM Button UNTIL instructed to RELEASE. Program Remote(s) WITHIN 5 seconds, PRESS the LOCK or UNLOCK Button on the remote. The vehicle will respond by cycling the door locks LOCK/UNLOCK, indicating successful programming of the remote. Program Additional Remote(s) WITHIN 10 seconds, REPEAT Step 3 to program any additional remotes. Exit Programming Mode RELEASE the VALET/DISARM Button to EXIT Programming Mode. Test Remotes TEST all remotes. Programming is now complete. & Be sure to buy the correct key fobs, they’re easy to confuse.
Love the vid man , watched it a lot , can i do this on my 97 that didnt come with the fob?
I appreciate it & yes sir you sure can! All Honda Civic trim levels have the keyless entry feature. However you do need the stock radio to do it or a special harness for an aftermarket radio to keep the feature. I hope this helped!
@@Brenden.Riley. helps a ton , thanks again man
@@ironnacho2553 Awesome & of course! Enjoy the keyless entry!
