Borden Mountain. I saw this female nest building several days earlier. She was unbanded and I never did try to catch and band her.

The chick is being returned to the nest after being measured and banded by the field biologist. Wtf, why did someone take the chick?
The field biologist removed the chick from the nest in order to take measurements and put a bird band on the leg. The adult birds notice this happening (you can hear them calling in the background). After banding the chicks are returned to the nest and the adults resume caring for them. The chick is returned to the next after just a couple minutes.
