I am a flutist and middle school band director who decided during the pandemic to learn to ice skate at the age of 41. I signed both my son and myself up for Learn To Skate lessons thinking I would just do 1 session to be able to help him while using our local outdoor rink. Well I quickly fell in love with gliding across the ice and find so much joy and satisfaction with learning new skills. I started this channel to chronicle my Adult Figure Skating Journey and hope that it will inspire other adults to either try skating or something else they may have always wanted to do. It's never too late to learn to skate or teach an older dog new tricks.
