I make large holiday displays mainly for halloween and christmas, consisting of mostly airblown inflatables, as well as other stuff
Gemmy 2006 6’ Inflatable Santa’s sleigh snow globe
This I got for free from the sale because there was a series of holes from what I guess was a mouse. but after some patching and cleaning, this inflatable works good as new. the fabric on this is actually not melting and the snowing mechanism works flawlessly. one thing I noticed about the 2006 globes is that they have an air pocket unlike the ‘05 ones. the fan setup on the 06 ones is also different. if an expert knows the difference it makes please let me know because the motors are the exact same on both years. this just implies for 6’ globes btw.

This rare piece unfortunately had a broken fan base, so I replaced it. other than that, pretty much all the fabric is actually pretty good on this, besides santa’s face. It’s very color faded in areas, which is normal for something this old that’s used. i’ve always liked this scene as they’ve shrunk it down and put it in future snow globes. This one was I got for free from the yard sale, and unfortunately a lot of the fabric is melting on it. pretty much anywhere red or beige part is thinning. it still inflates decently right now, but when you disconnect the teathers he falls over. hopefully I can get at least one season outta him, but I have my doubts. still a really nice classic regardless though.

This one I got from the garage sale. This is pretty rare, I don’t think I’ve seen this design before, but I decided to get it has that classic touch gemmy had. unfortunately the lighter blue is thin in areas, but it doesn’t affect the overall inflation of this thing. there’s not too much else to say about this, but I would recommend it if you can find one like this.

One of gemmy’s most iconic pieces. this one came from the garage sale, and he’s in great shape besides the patch in the hat. i’ve always loved this design it’s super classic and has good detail. surprisingly this stands up all on its own despite the weak motor. definitely recommend it

This is one I got from the garage sale, and I’ve always liked it. It’s nothing too special, but one thing my halloween displays lack is simple classic characters like this. some of the fabric has some see through parts, but it honestly doesn’t affect the inflation at all and for $15 complaining wouldn’t cross my mind. I’ll definitely get some seasons outta this.

One of the very best snowglobes gemmy has made in my opinion. They made good use of the globe by making the sleigh appear to fly. The air pockets help the snow fall faster and more abundantly because there is a greater flow of air with them.
its definitely one of the better ones. one thing i forgot to note was that my 05 6’ globe doesn’t have an air pocket and it snows no differently.
@@jake_baumgart I've always noticed that makes a difference on mine but maybe not on the older ones. I've never owned an older snowing globe but I do own a carousel and rotating globe. The globe has a pocket and the carousel doesnt.
How do I tell if inflatables not wearing out?
feel the fabric and if it feels crunchy or thick you should be all good. but just to be safe, shine a light into the portion(s) you’re questioning and if you can see through the areas the fabric is shot. but if not, you’re golden.

This was very faulty bc the mask and the eyes battery box would weigh it down and sometimes the red would thin almost immediately

This one is pretty cool. I read the description on it. The flex seal actually doesn't look too bad. I actually do have this one so don't feel bad. This thing is always shot for some reason. At least the reaper and the lantern is always shot. That's how it is on mine and a couple of friends that had this. It was shot on those parts too but I just decided to keep mine cuz the archway was good. I just pinned the reaper up higher. Pretty awesome video. I've always liked this one. It's got minimal detail but that's why I like it. I literally just found this channel today so new subscriber🎉❤

depends on the inflatable. this one i was able to because i can put it inside out but something like my haunted house no i can’t

This inflatable was originally advertised as 18’ tall, but Bj’s lied about it’s height, which is only 15’. It’s still a great inflatable for it’s price, it has three kaleidoscopes, is equipped with a YEF-80A, and has four base stakes, five normal plastic stakes, five normal tethers, and 3 tether loops. I still really like this one, but hopefully retailers stop lying to their customers. Vid of nighttime view will be posted asap
