@@christianrees3073 if it starts the car then the hard part is done, the door unlock BCM function is relatively simple just takes a bit of timing and practice. good luck man let us know how it goes

@@johnsavage6628 That's crazy, I would definitely do a drain and fill there's no reason to push this fluid. I usually only suggest transtune after a fluid change hasn't helped.

@@edogboemeje5588 I feel like it helps the car weight transfer but it also free'd up the front end enough that it doesn't rub going around corners.. personally I love it but I don't drive fast around corners. I just cruise on the street.

I tried manual mode and it's gotta be timed just right. There's no damage done to the engine trust me lol. The rev limiter for the vh45 was there for the accessories and not the motor. So I'm sure the same thing applies to the vk45.

@@GreatWhiteStagea yeah I had uprev working on a 03 M45 ECU with uprev but it's got some hardware differences + the weirdness of these ancient ECUs I got tired of it and put the stock one back in. Eventually I'll throw a haltech in it tho.

@@30YearOldBunta Have a look at Link ECU's as well if you get a chance, I'm running a G4X Standalone at the moment as UpRev didn't have support for my cars ECU and they weren't patching till they released support for the Titans and I didn't want to wait lol. They can be a bit pricey but will future proof your setup if you have big plans for your car. Be awesome to see the Q45 dip into the 13's 😃

@@dogmoms461 it's hard to say, maybe check connections for corrosion or bent pins.. I've never had a radio go bad so I'm just guessing but that does suck sorry I can't be of more help. There's a fuse box on the drivers and passengers did you check both?

@@samuelcaballero1681 I've got a reoccurring p1320 and p1720, I've gone through the car a million times and it just comes and goes.. doesn't seem to affect performance so I just stopped caring 😅 the other lights are from disabling vdc fully

@@QuezCuh it is night and day, I think it might be worth trying out the G1 TCM or the GZ before hand if you can get your hands on one that is.

@@QuezCuh yeah the shift kit + G1 is very nice, you do have to learn how to drive it in a way so it's definitely less stock car feeling which has its ups and downs. It can shift too hard when cold in low rpms etc (might just be my car specifically) but when everything works it feels awesome.

thanks yeah they're pretty trashed ngl.. I believe they were originally intended for a QX70. I got em off eBay and just kinda described the general dimensions to the vendor and they kinda fit. One day I'll get some proper ones.

oil change interval service for sure, these things need fresh oil. See how the transmission shifts, fresh fluid is always good (I prefer drain and fills). Cam and crank sensors need to be replaced every 100k or so and only can use OEM Hitachi. other than that they're pretty good ngl (as long as you don't mess with em like me 😅)

does the key start the car? did it used to work? Well if you use the valet key to unlock the door you should be able to follow the instructions to get it to work... it is very finicky and it took me a solid 10 minutes to get it but it should work. hit me up on IG if you need any other help (yt notifications kinda suck)

Hello I’m having the same issue, it starts the car but doesn’t unlock or lock the doors, I’ve replaced the key fob battery HOWEVER, my car battery is bad and I’m replacing it today.

never did the top coat on the seats like I did the wheel so they're pretty beat already (passenger looks great surprisingly) but the wheels held up amazing so I'll get around to redoing the seats with topcoat at some point

@@30YearOldBunta It's actually M45 2006 I'm having a little trouble with it staying cool while idling at times & when driving; It's random What do you think 🤔

@@KeithSanfordRevKix ahhh gotcha, not so rare but still very cool. Id check fluid level in the rad first when it's cold, check to see if anything is obstructing the AC condenser, if it's really clogged it could affect cooling abilities. Hopefully it's not a water pump but that's last to test (look up how to test a water pump).

yeah man I dunno what happened but when I got mine there were multiple sources, I got a pair off eBay and weathertech had them (broke a piece off one when I was trying to make it smoother in the track).. they're impossible to find now

just checked and there's some legit Nissan ones from Japan on eBay but they're expensive af

yeah that made me very conscious about being picky about who works on the car.. but it's not something that I'll let ruin my enjoyment of the car because one day I'm gonna repaint it. The performance gain I got from the diff swap was the change in gearing, diff fluid change won't improve performance but it could restore some if it's really old. If it's not making noise or anything then it might not be much of a change but it's definitely good to swap it out. Thanks for watching!

sounds like maybe sway bar end links, I'm actually not sure I need to tear apart the rear suspension at some point my knuckle bushings are pretty much gone lol.. rear coil springs wouldn't be so much body roll as up and down from the reduced spring tension you'd think.

There's a video of a y34 M45 guy doing a really slick install.. I'm sure that would be very similar but it'll be a custom job and I'd be careful removing the dash they're prone to cracking on the 02-04

I rarely use air con but it blows cold still, I was gonna recharge it but running it for a while seems to have given it life again. I run it every once in a while just to make sure. I switched to LED headlightsI have a whole video about it!

filler held up but because I didn't put top coat it looks like shit, passenger side still looks like new so I'm confident hitting it with another pass+ top coat will hold up great

I believe it's just the JDM rating agreement but the vk45dd and vk45de are fairly different. Early direct injection as well as higher compression, never seen one dyno'd but it could have been designed for fuel efficiency instead.. you'd think it'd make more with that tho

@@30YearOldBunta mine has the vk45de and it's 2007 Nissan CIMA but it's kinda strange it doesn't have crusie control on the steering wheel and I have the creme fabric interior

@@RBHirsch yes I did found out if you open the key fob up there is a tiny black magnet inside and moved it back to this small hole that it fit in perfectly and it worked

I'm blending it in small amounts, total ethanol content isn't much higher than whats in pump gas and I've got a wideband in the cabin
