Nato in periodo in cui la scuola elementare era obbligatoria sino ai 12 anni ma mancavano le scuole ed i bambini erano braccia per il lavoro. Non sono neanche sicuro l'abbia frequentata dopo i 10 anni. Considerando anche che al tempo i dialetti erano la prima lingua. Si esprimeva usando correttamente verbi, parole forbite. Secondo me era da sempre un calcolatore, aveva capito che per entrare in certi ambienti e rimanerci, ottenere qualcosa, doveva poter essere come i suoi interlocutori. Credo che avrebbe fatto molta più strada senza entrare nella mafia e credo lo avesse capito anche lui in età avanzata. I modi, la coerenza, il modi di esprimersi erano davvero come quelli di pochissime persone. Sarà anche dovuto a ciò il suo successo come toumber de femmes. Era e resterà un delinquente ma non si può negare però che avesse un certo fascino e stile.
