I have no idea how this game went viral tbh, it's too goofy to be scary and it's too bland to be a fun meme game. It starts strong enough, but after Eugene dies it just becomes an empty, open world game with nothing to do.

no, it's not. eclipse is a sad excuse of a hack made by idiots who don't understand basic game design and the whole hack is a ridiculous waste of time.

I’ve just had many people complain about them, they’ve contacted me themselves over Reddit, and ik they ban ppl on the discord for simply asking for codes. I was supplying pre patched ISO’s for eclipse and help on original hardware, otherwise I hate Reddit. They contacted me practically threatening me, then I looked at a few of their comment history’s aaaaaand I had seen enough. I can totally understand why this guy might prefer sunburn tho, I’ve yet to even get to the new content in eclipse but we’ll see. I find it hard to believe it’s THAT bad tho

I had the same problem; the only original content I saw was the intro, which seemed completely pointless and looked like filler (unless I missed something) and when I did get to more original content, it was just a blue coin mission that used base game assets with an almost AI generated set of platforms.

As I mentioned in the other comment; after we're done the BO6 Draft Kill Race, we'll probably take a long break from Draft Kill Races in general (possibly until the New Year). HOWEVER; I'm definitely open to the idea of a CoD 4 Draft.

They are and always have been terrible. Honestly I think the only CoD game with worse servers was probably Black Ops 1.

cold war servers are and were notorious for their connection issues.

@@SkittyonWailord Maybe, but if we do it won't be for a very, very long time. Both Twelft and I are extremely burnt out on Cold War and Draft Kill Races in general. So after BO6 we might put the Draft Kill Races on a brief hiatus.

@@SkittyonWailord Stardew Valley will come back in stream form at some point. As for Ocarina of Time and XDefiant; I only stopped uploading Ocarina of Time because I lost the save file and XDefiant has sadly died due to incompetent Devs and a greedy parent company.

I actually was inspired by the Vanoss thumbnails when I started putting borders on mine, always associated them with a good time back in the day.

I actually realized during editing that if I had aimed more to the right and been closer to the edge of the island, I probably could've achieved that Bob-omb battlefield jump.

@@SkittyonWailord It's a little too easy at times, but to give Shotgun Mario 64 credit where credit is due; I never reached "Mario 64 Fatigue", which I always do when I play the vanilla game.

If the video keeps getting Likes and Comments I probably will in November. Spooky times have gotta come first.

i'd honestly like this as a series, seeing how he used that shotgun was crazy and i'd love to see how he'd go about getting all the stars.

@@XAPPLAYS--Xander the 5 maps everyone universally hates: sandbird, leaf shine, ima chuckster, yoshi cubes and tall grass red coins. even speedrunners and sunshine apologists hate these shines.

The worst part is that it's just tedious and time-consuming, not difficult. With the other 100 coin shines there's a definite challenge to them, usually revolving around how well you know the given map and how well you can use your movement/fludd.

@@XAPPLAYS--Xander The only other 100 coin shine I can't stand is Hotel Delfino for pretty much the same reason, theres just no skill to it and it just devolves into a time sink.

@@user-tg3tw1bo8o Yep, the game was notoriously rushed and Pianta Village was the last area added, so it's very likely that Pianta Village was left unfinished.

Honestly I really liked how all the Sonic characters played. Each one felt very different and I wasn't actually expecting that.

I definitely might in November. I'm going back to Andaron Saga for the last 2 September streams, then in October I'm going to be playing horror games exclusively (with 1 exception).

Hard disagree, but I respect your opinion. MW2019 ruined the CoD franchise as a whole and saying that all the games after BO2 were B tier at best completely disregards just how fantastic BO3 and BO4 were.

@@XAPPLAYS--Xander I won’t argue but let me elaborate a little- mw2019 breathed life into the franchise that had been on a consistent downward trajectory for years. I haven’t forgotten the hundreds of thousands of people begging for advanced movement/hero selections to be taken out of the games, plus the ridiculously mediocre zombies and auraless campaigns getting pumped out year after year

@@CoolDrifty I agree that CoD was in a somewhat downward spiral for a few years (BO3 was the exception, as up until Warzone 1; BO3 had the single highest player count in the series), but the problem is that even with the series selling better than it has been, player retention is at an all -time low; MW3 for example only retained about 20% of it's player base after season 1, where as the older CoD games had a retention rate between 50-80%. It's important to remember this because retention = microtransaction sales. As for Zombies and Campaign, I 100% agree with you on both. Outside of BO3, zombies died out pretty hard and only saw a resurgence during Cold War and the only good Campaign we got after BO2 was WW2's Campaign, followed by Cold War. Here's to hoping BO6's Campaign is a Banger.

@@XAPPLAYS--Xander yeah don’t get me wrong I don’t think anything after MW2019 was that great either, it’s in a bad state right now too lol. Never really got into the multiplayer much but BO3 zombies chronicles was very fun I’ll definitely give you that though.

@@CoolDrifty 100% agree, the only thing that's come out of CoD recently to really impress me was Cold War (despite it's problems) and the BO6 beta. I just really hope the main game can keep up the momentum and give us a great CoD game.

@@jotarocarecarebaixado It's been a while since I played so I kind of forget the specific method, but there isn't any requirement other than the one that I do in the video. Sometimes you just get really bad luck when randomising for him.

They really do; long build up to get to it, tricky platformer, instant-death water, red coins. They pulled out all the stops.

That's quite the wall of text there! But yeah, Twelft and I both agreed in hindsight that AW and Camper Doorfare should've been lower on the list. I even mentioned it in the "Patch Notes" I commented. As for Big Red One; I think I'll make a video on it at some point, since so many people are unaware of it's existence.

Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed the videos! Yep, I'm not a Speedrunner by any means (although a friend of mine is), I just wanted to play Sunburn because it fixes a lot of Sunshine's small issues and adds a lot of quality of life changes.

it's not really that "no one had the heart to tell him", it's more that no one cares that much. if he was doing a speedrun or a shine race, i'd be pissed at the lack of optimization in these videos, but considering he's just doing a comedic let's play, it really isn't that important.

It's not like he's doing anything that special, he just forgot a button exists lol.

No, the controller mapping is fine. I just forget you can run and shoot sometimes since Sunshine has so many movement options it can get little bit overwhelming if you're not super familiar with the game. I'm not a Speedrunner, just a Let's Player, in fact the only game I've done a Speedrun of is Fire Emblem 9.

I mapped the spray and run to r3, that way I can run and shoot.

Nothing will ever stop me from playing more of sunburn.

@@SkittyonWailord Yep, I've gotten about 40-ish Shines in Eclipse now and I don't have any intention of playing it for the channel anytime soon. Although I do have something interesting planned for my next LP.

i like the kill races, but i'd really like to see xapplays and twelft do a let's play together, that would be based as hell.

We've got one more planned before October starts up, after that we're not doing another one until BO6 comes out.
