I know the Smokies from a different time. I came in the 50's. The trees are endless. The water is always rushing. The ridges are confused. The roads are one endless curve. But the girl I found there was a serious person with an unmatched drive. Courted her, I think. Or maybe she just waited until I realized what I should do. She lies on Water Rock Knob, her favorite place. 60 years and many grandchildren. Love always to you Irene. May the angels welcome you home.

Such great locations. wow. I was thinking that a small Osmo/DJI Pocket camera would be a nice choice for filming such an event as it is super convenient and has a small gimbal for stabilized footage and is not very expensive.

One of the most challenging np to photograph for beginners. You really have to work to find images that capture the imagination. Highly recommend everyone to visit and capture the beauty of the smoke filled hills.
