He was clearly in it just for the money at that point, he left the band out of nowhere because he prefered chasing aliens rather than being in a band

At a certain point, with all of the drugs that messed up Tom’s voice and he just stop caring while playing live. I’m sure he was sick of singing the same songs over and over and decided to give his vocals this “creative” flair. The last few years his live singing was just abysmal. Matt’s live singing isn’t very good either, but nowhere near as bad as Tom’s was towards the end.

First time I seen Blink live was on my 18th birthday in 97 they were pretty amazing and up to Take off your pants and jacket they were good, but now without Tom and Skiba butchering the songs it's sad.

The main thing I don't like about Matt is when he sings, it sounds like he's yelling in a slightly higher tone than the song, and that just makes everything terrible. listen to him play Stay together for the kids live, it's complete shit.

I cant understand how you can like Matt more...He's definetley a great guy and musician but he doesn't fit in Blink 182 very well. The contrast between Mark's and Tom's voice was one of the best parts of this band, It never got boring. But Matt's voice sounds so similar to Marks one that the magic about Tom's songs get lost. If billie joe would left green day and they find a new singer everyone would loses their shit, and that's the same thing with Tom. You cant replace the main songwriter and think everyone will accept this.

i wish a could find a live recorded show of Matt singing Not Now rather then something that looks like it was done by an iPhone so that I can do a proper compare and contrast. This song is by far one of my favorites from Blink and I'd like to know if Matt Skida can do it as well as Tom in the greatest hits album. :)
