Elvish Paisley

Elvish Paisley is the pseudonym used by Seattle based musician Alex Thomas. His work is mainly instrumental combining electronic and acoustic drums sets with bass guitar, mandolin and glockenspiel. He is the owner of Elvish Paisley Productions which attempted to produce several artists and demos in 2008.
Audarium - 2. The Clock Blinks
I found another Audarium video I made. I didn't record the development of this state, but I liked where it was enough to try to record the patch and parameters for myself.
I was trying to get the Microgranny parameters to display on the screen when I accidentally stopped the hold on the sample. It's kind of cool to hear how the system responds to the loss of the Microgranny input.
Inspecting the video I can see the Microgranny isn't sidechained to any of the other channel gates or compressors in the ACP88 and the audio isn't being routed to the V256 + V300 chain via the aux sends. It is being routed with the Koma Field Box, Rucci Time Drive, and DigiTech V300 to the stereo effects array v...

Got a Rucci Clock Trigger and wanted to check that it worked. The Clock Trigger takes audio signal in and converts it to a clock pulse (with sensitivity control). I'm running my Rumble of Ancient Times (Soma Labs) with a very simple sequence and my Korg Monotron into my Korg Volca Mix, then the Aux Out from the Volca Mix into the Clock Trigger. Better audio quality, but for some reason the synth effect on the bass didn't come through... oh well, keep trying. I also could not get it down to 10 min so the first 2 min got clipped, you can imagine what it looked like from the loops already going when the vid starts.

This is another original composition by Elvish Paisley aka Alex Thomas. I wrote this song thinking about my friends and family in the unfortunate position of being unemployed in this lame economy and frightful world, I hope we can all find our way out of this. Again on V-drums, Bass and Mandolin using the Kaoss pad and RC-50. Still working on audio quality.

@anim8orjoey It's pretty fun, not so cool if you don't get the expression pedal for it (that's what controls the LFO rate, +$50) You can make some pretty cool dubsteppy sounds with it, but I'm not quite satisfied. I've been thinking about getting more pedals to layer with it, but it could start adding up to some real $ though. Maybe check out the BOSS GT10B Bass Effects Processor (dub fx does some cool stuff with it) it's pretty expensive though. For the price I paid it was worth it.
