Assetto Corsa - Smooth Clutch Operation
The clutch in Assetto Corsa can be described as very brutal. The engagement point is as small as a hair and equally as grabby. It may be difficult the start a car the "conventional" way (low RPM's) so most people, including myself, usually launch a car in Assetto Corsa because why bother feathering the clutch? However, just like a real race clutch, there is indeed a way to feather it. Feed some RPM's as you release it, and when you feel it start to grab, focus on keeping the RPM's above 2,000. If you let go of the throttle, the car will stall/turn off. Once you maintain that 2,000, you can slowly let go of the clutch while feeding throttle and smoothly take off.
