The battery on the remote does not last very long, so it’s like a $6 or $7 cost for one or two run throughs. Really chews through batteries.😮

It would be nice if you measured the outside of this house, calculated the area, and deducted the garage area to get the GLA. That would be a true comparison. The problem with some of these apps is they assume wall thicknesses. Here pre 1980 houses were 2x4, now they are 2x6. But even then some walls are 2x8. plumbing walls in bathrooms are sometimes 2x6

I realize this is primarly used for mapping rooms, but can it be used to scan products? I have been trying to find something "easy" to do product scans, and I am talking things like wood-chippers, and tractors, and things like that - for the customer to perhaps either flip the product around or "walk" around it online.

For designing residential additions I need accurate dimensions, ceiling heights, window sill and head heights, floor to floor dimensions, exterior elevations, and files in .dwg format. Does Cubicasa do that ?

I noticed that when you take your interior photographs I don't see you setting up any type of flash or diffuser do you always use natural light when you take pictures or do you sometimes bring a c-stand with a Flash and diffuser?

Great video I'm new to the industry and exploring the tools I have to be honest to tell you I just watched her one using your cell phone and to be frank your cell phone looked better in many ways than this is the one which cost almost $1,000. At that price you might as well go for the full lidar system for $2600. M2 camera when it talks about active spaces. In its pricing is an active space considered an entire home.

Good idea to upload the floor plan while you’re there. Lots of times, I save for later and upload when I get home. Never had an upload fail, but there’s always a first time.

How did you not get an enormous number of misalignments with how similar the seating areas are? Is it similar at all to like a hallway in a hotel where if everything looks the same you can't make much progress?
