Lovely video. We are off to Punta Cana next week. Who did you do your tours through and was the coach to Saona long?

@belindatompkins2471 Hi, thankyou, ok so we did our excursions through our tour company that we booked our holiday/Vacation with in the UK and that was TUI. The only thing we booked at the excursions hut on the resort was the parasailing but you can book up most of the things we did there also but compair the prices first. In regards to the Saona island excursion the coach from the resort to where you get the boat from at La Romana took approximately an hour and 20 mins roughly but then you have the boat trip over to the island that takes about 45 mins on the catamaran or 20 mins on the speed boat, you'll get both but one there and one back, it's a great trip and we'll worth it, I also highly recommend Catalina Island if you want swimming pool water and starfish everywhere, it's stunning there also. Have a great holiday/Vacation hope this helps 😀

Thankyou, apologies for the late reply, it's a beautiful resort with plenty to do around the island, we had a fantastic time and going back in July 2025 but this time to Royalton Negril, hope you both have a lovely time together there and I'm glad we were able to help with some inspiration 🙂

Thankyou, so tipping is not compulsory but a choice, we tipped a dollar or two every now and then at the bar and most times at the restaurant, we also tipped a couple of dollars every other day for the room maid, Jamaica realise on tips to boost there wage, so we like to tip where we think it's due, I guess I can say you'll just know when the right time is to want to tip. We give a larger tip for anyone that goes beyond a good service to really make our holiday special, enjoy your holiday, Jamacia is a beautiful country and the people are amazing, youll have a wonderful rime there, we are back in 2025 staying in Nagril this time 😀

Thankyou, apologies for the late reply, we didn't use the kids club our daughter is 7 and eldest is 16 they enjoyed the pool more than anything, there are many activities throughout the day at certain parts of the resort and many activities off resort which cater for families, its a beautiful country, have a wonderful Holiday 😊

Both were amazing holidays and have there own unique experience altho the Mexico El Dorado holiday was adults only with amazing rooms, culture, premium drinks and lifestyle, but for me personally Jamaica was my favourite becuse I loved the layed back theme of the country, the people and the love, beautiful warm water, premium drinks on both sides avaliable and a lot of enjoyable excursion but again I really loved both 😉

Food wise I would definitely say Jamaica, the food there is amazing, don't get me wrong the food in Mexico was great but for me Jamaica food is up there, entertainment again I'd say Jamaica as there was plenty of evening entertainment every night, Mexico had a good fair share too.

It was included in our excursion at mystic mountain, there are other rollercosters up there including waterside, climbing walls etc, well worth a visit up there 🙂
