Amazing Hawk eye challenge at Australian Open 2018. Closest Hawk Eye of the Year !
The hawk eye is one of the best features of tennis, as it’s quick to do and its exiting for both players and spectators. You can hear the spectators both ohed and awed of that challenge and how got that challenge was
CHALLENGE THE CHALLENGE
Hawk eye's precision of 3.6 mm doesn't mean it's wrong here. If it's greater than 3.6 it's very confident about its decision (say 99%). For this one its confidence could be less (say 68%) but still more likely to be correct than wrong.
And Edmund doesn't like the in call. There's nobody to say out/in quite the machine doesn't.
Surely it’s possible to play a shot that is neither in nor out on Hawkeye, where no matter how much magnifying you do it’s still undetermined
Wow
You can ask for the challenger but NOT when the ball is out half a meter.
And we rly think these animations are good enough to tell on calls that close?
Better than umps for sure
CALL IN OVERTURNED
This is how close federer was winning wimby 2019
Nah
But no...
Yes
oh my good
Bet ya thats the first time they had to zoom in.
They often do
@@limoncenzo well yes, they often do, but just for clarity, you can usually tell the ball is actually out. For this one, they physically had to zoom completely in, just to detriment the fact. That is a first.
It's 2018!!!! You idiots still not able to put at least 720p up!? C'mon!
It's 2018 right? Why 480p lmao
I’m pretty sure that’s beyond the margin of error of 5mm...
of course

@@ancientaliensarecoming7201 ancient aliens are coming ancient aliens are coming In another video, one of the people actively working with Hawkeye mentions the margin of error is 3.6mm, which sounds abour right. The video is called "Inside Hawkeye".
@@Aericane ancient aliens are coming
@@freesoundeffects9182 I think you are confusing millimitres with centimetres 😂 This was 1 millimetre max
¿Qué?
