How to Erdnase Bottom deal

This is not a perfect tutorial the video reflects that it’s also not the best bottom deal of all the variations I do recommend you learn it as it’s the building blocks to all bottom deals. Side note I plan to do a better video in the future as I made this one a while ago think I would hit 100 subs sooner. Thanks for the support!!! Let’s keep climbing and grow as a channel.

Cheating at Cards!!! The legendary Center Deal 2.0
Просмотров 216Месяц назад
The Center deal is one of the most mystical and complex false deals that require year upon years of study and practice. This specific center deal is the Alan Kennedy center based off of Jason Ladanye’s handling. Places You can learn center deals from is the lecture notes (Down Under Deals) by Andrew Wimhurst. If you want to learn different methods check out Gene Maze (Art of the Bottom Deal. If...

When the Hold’em Hustler gets Caught.
Sorry about the camera this is a remade video as a short check out the main video on my channel page.
This is a really good tutorial and helped me a lot thank you very much
You’re welcome, glad it helped.
Solid man!!
Pretty good bottom deal....
Your thumb lifts when dealing a top card but doesn’t lift when dealing a second, and you neck tie on the second more then the top
i see a thum lift really when i deal the ace down but that's when Im done demonstrating but I see what you are saying I have been watching steve fortes videos on his website just to start messing with all of the secondeals and such I still think that little brief work for the second is a great deal and I think that's something we are gonna have to agree to disagree.
@ it changes when you go from dealing a top to the second
Pretty good, I’d recommend not raising the deck when bottom dealing. I’ll upload some, only seems fair
Thanks for the advice, I’ll try that out. It’s always good to be critiqued.
@ I apologize if I was rude, it’s how I was given advice
@@MiguelWebb-kx1xn it’s no problem
The technicality I’m demonstrating is the speed of the push through shuffle coupled with a proper speed for getting ready for the bottom deal.
The technical chops of this video is to demonstrate a smooth up the ladder cut followed by a second deal with a smooth rhythm and small brief and keeping the deal smooth even when switching from tops to bottoms.
This is just a gag gimmick, right? A prestige started all those years ago. I've yet to see anyone show the order of the deck before the deal. Good fun, though
What in the Sam Hell? Nah just playing man if you want I’ll post another you can see the order of the cards before the deal. It’s no legend just skill.
Nice Up The Ladder!
Thanks!
Great stuff as always! Where did you get that close up pad? 🙂 All I can find are too small...
I got mine off of vanishing inc it’s the premium thick one from by Murphy magic the largest size.
@@MagicJames58 Many thanks!! 🙏🙏
Looks good
I appreciate it
For the stud take, you take the cards between ring finger & pinky finger?
Yes that’s the best place and that is how a fair deal the stud
Damn, that's good!
Bloody cool! 👍 This is from The ultimate cardshark, right? 😀
Yes a version of this is from the ultimate card shark the method is a what’s know as riffle stacking mixed with a Zarrow shuffle.
@@MagicJames58 Right, I thought I recognised it from there 😀 Really useful stuff, being able to stack with disturbing the rest if the cards. Really nice execution too 👍
@ needs some work I don’t practice Zarrow stacking often
Haven't seen any DVD on Full Grip bottom deal. That's why I can't do it. Only seen Erdnase and Mechanics grip
its a very underground technique it really comes down to trial and error.
Very nice. Where can I learn the Greek deal?
Greek deal can be learned from the lecture Notes (Down Under deals by Andrew Whimhurst)
Thumb needs to move on the second deal
I think that is a very good insight as someone who has studied Richard Turner he actually said the same thing but in reality, this doesn't matter as what you point out is never gonna be recognized by laymen also because it's a strike second not a push off its almost supposed to be a dead deck Jason Ladanye does a very similar second deal and his strike does not revolve around a moving thumb but the size of the brief work and the consistency of the deal. so how bout this if you could post a video showing a strike second without a dead thumb that is great because the way I perceive is that it really doesn't matter for this style of deal.
@MagicJames58 you got instagram?
@@MiguelWebb-kx1xn nah
@@MagicJames58 I posted it
@@MiguelWebb-kx1xn let me explain something that thumb move ment is gonna give you away at the card table the reason being your grabbing a completely different place to grab the second card then the top card in other words the takes do not look the same and trust me when I say that’s the most important thing to all false deals
That’s crazy that you uploaded this 1 hour ago. I m trying to get a decent bottom deal and thought the erdnese looked the best. What do you think
Funny I think the Erdnase is great bottom deal it’s not my favorite personally but if I have a deck of cards that is sticky it’s great also it’s probably this best deal if your doing stud bottoms keep in mine the bottom deal is really just a war of persistence and time kept up the good work you will get where you want to be.
Too much effort not to sub 😂😂😂
You have an impressively small brief on the strike second, do you also happen to do the push off also?
I do use push offs but typically for my stud takes though I haven’t put enough time into them
@@MagicJames58nice, I love doing push offs more than strikes. They are fun to do, difficult though.
👏👏👏
This is great stuff! Awesome that you're able to take lessons from Jason Ladanye. How often do you take lessons with him? Keep up the great work!
Once every 3 to 5 months especially after having big improvements over the techniques and material from the previous lessson.
@@MagicJames58 Awesome! It's an investment but it seems to pay of. Your bottoms are looking good 👍
@@4suits thanks man
this really gives me steve forte demos vibes really good work you'll get that 100 really soon
Sensational buddy!
Glad you like it!
Cool saw this earlier. Very nice!
I need to learn some mucking ngl, nice switch btw
I’ll teach the muck in a future video though if you want to learn it now Houston Curtis should have a video on it.
@@MagicJames58alright, luckily I have Steve fortes gambling sleight of hand
I love those Jason ladanye touches you're putting in those videos
Thanks man
That looks way worse than I thought
so much Jason ladanye I can see over there hahahaha can I ask you what that initial unsquared deck is? Jason often does it but I don't get it why would you start with an unsquared deck
It was squared it’s just been cut out due to time restraint
I thought it would be a fun challenge to try and cheat with jumbo sized playing cards.
Could you show it from the other angle? It looks fine for an erdnase grip
It looks good from most angles I do plan to do a tutorial video specifically on the erdnase technique for expert at the card table since it is in the public domain notice though for the retention I turn my wrist in this helps limit the angle from other people around the card table if you are using this live or under fire in a game.
I was just asking to give advice, your using an angle that hides any flaws, which is good for use but not for practice. You shouldn’t move the card back when dealing studs, your thumb doesn’t move when taking the bottom card etc. while Jason’s bottom deal looks fine from the left angles he’s far from a bottom deal to look up to. Steve fortes bottom deal clears, try looking at his hidden secrets of magic, his center deal fools magicians to this day
I’ve never see Steve Fortes center deal as for his bottoms they are good but their good cause they are fast not because they visually look like the top card is being taken also there is a small but obvious flutter when he does deal his bottom in other words it really comes down to preference and in the context of a game or magic performance they are both going to do well the only people that nick pick bottoms ( me included) are magicians but that mainly because they have to do it under examination while in a card game you do it on the off beat where no one is looking if you could provide a source where I can see Steves Centers that would be splendid I just did a video demonstrating my centers and it’s not very good. Thanks for the advice but I don’t fully understand what you mean for the stud takes could you clarify it. Thanks man.
really good thirds good job
🔥🔥🔥
it seems you've really grown up a lot man btw i was into cubing as well my best average of 5 solves was 18 sec my all time best 13 :)) do you use a strike of push off bottom? i haven't understood that and... could i get to know what jason taught you? i've always wanted to do a lesson with me, especially 1-2 years ago, but never really tried
I can’t fully disclose what Jason has given me but he uses an erdnase style push off bottom for stud takes I recommend looking up Darwin Ortiz doing the bottom deal also watch Daniel Roy’s bottom deal video finally look at all of Jason’s bottom deal videos. The strike bottom deal for stud takes really is just getting good at taking the cards from that grip. Keep in mind a good stud takes almost solely on the retention not the speed or type of push off.
@@MagicJames58 i agree for the stud thing :) well I'm gonna keep watching people in slow mo then
I noticed you lost weight before you even said anything. Good work keep it up!!
Thanks man
Dude you bottoms were good before now they’re insane, the rhythm is incredible!
Thanks a lot man i really appreciate it. it just goes to show that practice and persistence equals results

😮😮
How do you get the cards you dropped, back in the deck before someone notices?
The school deleted my google account!!! 😭😭😭
Bottom dealing? This is known lol the hardest part is getting what uou want on the bottom. And no one is gonna be laughing when you have hands like quad aces. Thats how you end up getting your ass beat in the parking lot
Obliviously but I’m not gonna deal some bullshit hand in a video that people don’t understand the value of also check the video again and you will realize it’s not a bottom deal as the top cards change
Bro who made you so mad? It’s a magic trick lol 😂
@@alexandertaddy4639 I'm not mad I've always been interested in bottom dealing I just don't understand how you can get the cards you want in the right places. I'm just saying it's not a good idea to be doing this in real games you will legitimately get hurt.
is that from Daniel Madison? you do it perfectly
Have seen Daniel Madison do it on watched a video of Jason Ladanye doing it and I thought that would be a fun video to post
Cool skill, I've been into magic since I was a kid and never considered learning these types of sleight of hand. Tried doing it just now with a loose mechanics grip and it was extremely hard. Respect!
Thanks it takes a lot of time but I can’t tell how much a bottom deal will serve you in magic
that's so weird cause I've just switched to strike bottom deal as well
