Yeah, its useless in 99% of situations in Ark, but what is truly impervious to all attacks and explosives? It was fun to create and at the end of the day fun is all that matters.

Yeah that would help the anxiety a lot by just turning off the music in game and listening to your own. Changes the tension level but not the danger of the map.

I think it is far enough off the ground to not hit the enable spawning code they have. Either that or they don't like spawning in water as that rock is completely surrounded by water. I have run around without my light pet on and nothing seems to spawn so far. If it was not at the point of the rock it may get close enough to need the plant species for the charge glow. I know that when we built in our playthrough series i put plants on the lower areas but not up there. Mostly just need crab defenses for this.

Must be picking up our mood from when we played. 😜We play this game to chill and relax after work. Its a great way of detoxing from the day even when things start eating you.

Thank you for the suggestions. Yeah, we are working on our chatter when recording. Its something that takes time to get right. Its gotten better but we still suffer from tunnel vision of focusing on whatever task we are trying to do in game. We've tried playing with some voiceovers but only one of us sounds natural and not sounding like we are just reading the words off a script. It didn't feel right. On the note of game music, when this was recorded I hadn't gotten to do my research on if Satisfactory had any copyright issues. Everyone wanted to play more than anything. So we played it safe and turned off the music. I have since found that its not an issue. As far as "free to use" music added in editing, Yes the mid/end part at least could have benefited from a little. Been trying out some background music in some vids lately but it didn't make it into this vid. At the moment, we are living off of what is on the RUclips music library. It's limited though, There are only so many tracks i have found that i can stand to finish listening to and i wonder how many times someone wants to listen to those few being repeated. Hope to do something like Epidemic or one of the others like it soon. We just haven't been able to justify the cost over the last few months and felt it was better to buy our dogs their jerky and minties dental bones.

@@StupidBaby12341 Thank you. That's nice to know. Copyright is squirrely at the best of times and not easy to get straight answers when you need them. We did chat about what we wanted to do going forward and have decided to make the jump to using Epidemic. Think we are at that point of either jump or roll back down the hill. We have another Satisfactory episode coming tomorrow that we started using some tracks from Epidemic. If you have the time someday, let us know if it's an improvement. Its from the same day of recording but i did tweak how it got edited a bit to fill the voids of quiet a bit better. I don't know if the music is too soft or not, it sounded loud enough to me but life in the woods away from cities makes everything loud and I didn't want to blow the speakers off someone's desk like I've had happen to me a few times when watching others. Its really nice to get feedback besides little numbers blipping one way or another that don't seem to tell you much at all. RUclips algorithm is a weird one somedays 😝

As far as Factory Builder games go, Satisfactory leaves big shoes to fill in order to complete with it in my opinion. There is most definitely a lot of Satisfactory aspects to Techtonica. We won't know until it fully releases as to how much it will add to stand apart from Satisfactory. At the moment though: Yes, Satisfactory is WAY better. Especially with the new 1.0 update coming this month.

It isn't as complex or custom as Stx. It's more to Rimworld but with set building sets. You can build an empire if take other lands from starter spot and make all the cities to how you like. It's a story maker of a Lords/Ladies life Sim has a lot of depth for what it has atm. Haven't played alot besides 5 games to learn the game by failing. Hope that helps

yeah, i heard of motion sickness due to small FOV's but this gives me motion sickness too lol

@@GrandTickler Yeah there were times when it started to make my eyes hurt. Everything felt way to close to the screen for my liking. Maybe there were settings i missed in the first tweaking stage before recording but since I'm already done recording the series for the moment there will not be any changes for the future episodes even if there is something I missed. If I didn't miss them in settings, I hope at least by the time the game gets out of Early Access that those types of settings get added. Fun game but I had to play it with a lot of breaks.
